Matt Czuchry to Return as Logan for 'Gilmore Girls' Revival Posted: One of Rory's ex-boyfriends is coming back: Matt Czuchry has joined the cast of Netflix's upcoming "Gilmore Girls" revival. TVLine reports that Czuchry, who played Rory's (Alexis Bledel) college boyfriend, Logan Huntzberger, on the CW series, will return for the new mini season, set to debut on the streaming service sometime later this year. It's not clear yet how big his role will be, or in how many of the four 90-minute episodes he will appear. "Gilmore Girls" creator Amy Sherman-Palladino -- who also will return, and write every installment -- had teased in a previous interview with TVLine that some (or possibly all) of Rory's former flames were penciled in to pop up on the revival, with one in particular having more importance than the others. Those actors (who could potentially include Milo Ventimiglia, who played Jess, and Jared Padalecki, who played Dean, though Sherman-Palladino declined to get specific) were reportedly still working on deals, according to the creator, so nothing is set in stone yet when it comes to Rory's love life. Though all three of the aforementioned men are exes, Rory and Logan's breakup is the most fresh, since it happened at the end of season seven, and in the most public fashion: After Logan proposed to Rory on the eve of her college graduation -- and in front of her entire family -- she ultimately turned him down, and they called it quits. A heartbroken Logan then flew off to California, while Rory went to travel the U.S. covering Barack Obama's presidential campaign for an up-and-coming website. According to Sherman-Palladino, Rory is single and dating when the revival picks up. We'll have to wait and see if she gives Logan another shot. Who Won 'Project Runway: Junior' Season 1? Posted: Alas, the breath of fresh, fashionable air that was "Project Runway: Junior" Season 1 ends tonight, Thursday, February 4 from 9-10:30 p.m. on Lifetime. The final four teens will show their garments at New York Fashion Week and one of them will win this set of prizes:
So who will win? There are no bad options with a strong final four of Maya, age 14; Peytie, 15; Samantha, 16; or Zachary, 16. Samantha started strong, with a very cool and distinct point of view, but she hasn't shown a lot of range. Peytie surged in the middle of the season and her print game at the finale could give her an edge. Zachary considers himself the underdog after getting Tim Gunn's save, but his more mature style could serve him well in the end. But our money is on the youngest designer, Maya, who just turned 14 during the competition. She has won three challenges, and wowed the judges and viewers. She's just a marvel. And she's 14! All of the designers are talented, though, and not just for "kids" but for any PR designers on any season. Plus, they have shown good sportsmanship and the season has stayed free of petty drama and personality clashes. Hopefully the JV team inspires the varsity players when they hit the field with "All Stars" Season 5, which premieres next Thursday, February 11. 11 Essential Coen Brothers Movies Posted: Have filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen been getting too conventional? Already this decade, they've made a classical western ("True Grit") and written three relatively irony-free scripts for other directors (including Angelina Jolie's "Unbroken" and Steven Spielberg's "Bridge of Spies"). Fortunately, for fans of the brothers' earlier work, their new period Hollywood farce, "Hail, Caesar!" (opening Feb. 5), looks like it could be a return to form -- full of absurd, satirical touches, with maybe just a little food for thought. If you're wondering why the writing-directing-producing-editing siblings are such a big deal, or how they got to where they are now, go back and watch these gems from their three-decades-plus career. Here Are Some of the Raunchy Jokes Cut From 'Deadpool' Posted: "Deadpool" hasn't even been released yet -- it's out next Friday, February 12 -- but T.J. Miller is already talking about deleted scenes. He previously mentioned that the director's cut will be "even more raw," and he just shared more outtakes details with Zimbio. Spoiler alert for Nancy Grace: You have multiple name-drops ahead! First, it was noted that the "Deadpool" trailers show Miller's character, Weasel, comparing Ryan Reynolds's gruesome face as Wade Wilson/Deadpool to "the inside of other people's a--holes," a "topographical map of Utah," and "an avocado [that] had sex with an older avocado," etc. So Zimbio asked about other ways Weasel described his face that didn't quite make the cut. Here's Miller's response:
Gorgeous. Zimbio had a good follow-up, asking Miller, "For the record, what does Ryan Reynolds' face look like to you?" In real life? Well, Miller answered, "It looks like a less attractive Nancy Grace, if that's possible." Somehow we can't see Blake Lively marrying a less attractive Nancy Grace, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Needless to say, whenever this bad boy drops on Blu-ray/DVD it should have some a--kicking bonus features. Want more stuff like this? Like us on Facebook. 5 Things We Need to See in 'Star Wars: Episode VIII' Posted: Now that "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has been out for several weeks and we've re-watched it at least eleventy times, it's time to look ahead to what Disney and Lucasfilm have planned next for the "Star Wars" franchise. In less than two years, "Star Wars: Episode VIII" will chronicle the further adventures of Rey, Finn, Kylo Ren and the rest of the new heroes and villains in that galaxy far, far away. While we anxiously wait for December 2017 to roll around, we've put together a list of five things we absolutely want to see in the next sequel. Joe Alaskey, Voice of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester, Dies at 63 Posted: "Looney Tunes" fans, today we raise a carrot for Joe Alaskey, modern voice of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety, Sylvester the Cat, and other cartoon favorites. According to Entertainment Weekly, Alaskey died of cancer at age 63. Sufferin' succotash indeed. When Mel Blanc passed away, Alaskey was one of the voice actors to take on his iconic characters. In the 2003 movie "Looney Tunes: Back in Action," Alaskey voiced Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester, Beaky Buzzard, and Mama Bear. In the 2000 animated movie "Tweety's High-Flying Adventure," Alaskey voiced Tweety, Sylvester, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Pepé Le Pew, Marvin the Martian, Henery Hawk, and Colonel Rimfire. Phew! In addition to Warner Bros. characters, Alaskey also voiced Grandpa Lou Pickles in the "Rugrats" movies and video games, and on the TV series from 1997-2004. You may also recall his voice as Droopy in the "Tom and Jerry" movies, Stinkie in "Caspter," Yosemite Sam in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit," or Plucky Duck on "Tiny Toon Adventures." Joe Alaskey was a major voice of your childhood. Honor his legacy by watching him in this behind-the-scenes clip: Want more stuff like this? Like us on Facebook. 'Friends' Stars Asked About Sleeping Together in First NBC Tribute Promo Posted: NBC's upcoming special is ostensibly a tribute to sitcom director James Burrows, but let's be honest: It's a tribute to '80s-'00s TV nostalgia, especially for "Friends" fans. It's not really a "Friends" reunion without Matthew Perry, but he'll still be part of the show via a separate taped segment. The other five -- Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox Arquette, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer -- gathered for the special, which was recently taped, and NBC just shared the first promo. In the video, we see shots of interviews with the casts of several classic sitcoms, including "Cheers," "Taxi," "Frasier," "Mike & Molly," "Will & Grace," "The Big Bang Theory," and, yeah, "Friends." The promo ends with a glimpse of the "Friends" panel, with Jennifer Aniston tripping over Matt LeBlanc to take her seat, and moderator Andy Cohen asking the five-some, "Did you all sign contracts saying that you wouldn't sleep with each other?" The camera cuts to Lisa Kudrow turning to David Schwimmer, joking, "David, say something!" Here's the preview: It should be pretty cute, even if it's not an "official" reunion, and it will be great to see the other casts talk about their shows, too. The "All-Star Tribute to James Burrows" airs Sunday, February 21 at 9 p.m. on NBC. Want more stuff like this? Like us on Facebook. Channing Tatum Recalls His Worst Audition Ever, for 'Fast and Furious 3' Posted: You know how "Back to the Future Part II" has an alternate 1985? In an alternate 2006, Channing Tatum had Lucas Black's role in "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift." If only he hadn't botched that audition! Then again, it's hard to imagine Chan could be getting better roles than his eclectic mix right now, so maybe it's all for the best. Chan was on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Wednesday night to promote "Hail, Caesar!" and Jimmy asked about his worst-ever audition. The actor had his story ready:
Oof. That probably happens to actors more often than they like to admit. But things tend to happen for a reason. And based on what Channing has said about "G.I. Joe," he probably wishes he had been rejected for that role. Want more stuff like this? Like us on Facebook. This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |
Mugatu Just Wants His Damn Latte in This Exclusive 'Zoolander 2' Clip Posted: Yes, fashion mogul Jacobim Mugatu (Will Ferrell) is back in "Zoolander 2," and this exclusive sequel clip shows that, despite his assertions, he is exactly the same latte-loving diva who was so hot right now 15 years ago. "Prison changed me," Mugatu insists in the scene, which shows him exiting a scary lockdown, where he was presumably sentenced for his shenanigans in the 2001 movie. "I am bad to the core now!" But no one's too "bad" for a latte (or an orange mocha frappuccino). And not only does Mugatu look and sound the same as before, he even acts the same with the amazing, long-suffering Todd (Nathan Lee Graham). Of course Todd had to be the one to pick him up from prison -- in a helicopter, no less -- and of course Todd was there with a hot foamy latte. Too foamy, though? We know how that goes, and Mugatu throws the scalding drink right back at Todd, old school style, then they give each other those half-turned on, half-scared expressions they do so well. Oh, you two! How we missed you. #RelationshipGoals "Zoolander 2" is coming out next Friday, February 12, starring OGs Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, plus Penélope Cruz and Benedict Cumberbatch. Go ahead and re-watch the first full trailer while you wait. It's ridiculously good-looking!Want more stuff like this? Like us on Facebook. Jodie Sweetin to Do 'Dancing With the Stars,' Two Co-Stars Declined: Report Posted: "Dancing With the Stars" has been a "Full House" before, but it's about to get "Fuller" in the spring 2016 season. According to Us Weekly, Jodie Sweetin, aka Stephanie Tanner, has signed on for DWTS Season 22. Sweetin will next be seen in "Fuller House," which starts streaming on Netflix February 26. DWTS Season 22 premieres Monday, March 21 on ABC. An insider gave Us Weekly the scoop on Jodie Sweetin's inclusion in the new dancing season, adding, "John Stamos and Lori Loughlin have turned down the show." Stamos probably turns the show down every year, but if Jodie said yes, then she is striking while the "Fuller House" iron is hot. She's also following in the footsteps of Candace Cameron Bure (DJ Tanner), who danced to third place on DWTS Season 18 in 2014.Speaking of Candace and Jodie, a few months ago it was confirmed that DWTS pros Maks and Val Chmerkovskiy would be guest stars on "Fuller House" as love interests of sisters DJ and Stephanie Tanner. A source told Us Weekly that Val would be Jodie's/Stephanie's love interest, with Maks playing Candace/DJ's love interest. So if they already danced and romanced on "Fuller House," maybe Jodie and Val will dance together this spring. What do you think about the idea of Jodie Sweetin joining DWTS, and do you think Val will indeed be her pro partner? UPDATE: Jodie just responded to the "rumors" on Twitter, and it sounds like she is interested ... whether DWTS has actually asked her to dance or not:

Nicholas Sparks Movies, Ranked From Best to Worst (1999 - 2015) Posted: Author Nicholas Sparks has made a career out of bringing very attractive, white people together in the name of love -- in between lots of longing glances and kisses in the rain. The latest movie based on one of his novels, "The Choice," is about to hit theaters. (Which could be taken as a threat.) In honor of that, it wasn't easy -- since rarely have critics and audiences disagreed more -- but we've ranked Sparks' movie adaptations from best to worst.
