Carrie Fisher, Best Known as Princess Leia in 'Star Wars,' Passes Away at 60 Posted: 27 Dec 2016 04:00 PM PST Devastating news out of Hollywood today as veteran entertainer Carrie Fisher has passed away due to a heart attack she suffered while on a plane traveling from London to Los Angeles. She was 60. Fisher, the daughter of Hollywood legends Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher, is most known for playing Princess (now General) Leia in the Star Wars movies, and reports indicate she was on a book tour when she passed. Fisher is currently set to star in the next Star Wars movie, Episode VIII, due out in December of 2017. She is survived by her daughter, Billie Lourd, who also has a small role in both Star Wars: The Force Awakens, as well as its upcoming sequel. 'A Bad Moms Christmas' Is Coming in 2017 Posted: 27 Dec 2016 12:00 PM PST The raunchy comedy The Hangover burst out as an early summer box office hit back in 2009, earning special plaudits for Bradley Cooper as a leading man. The secret ingredient, however, was the original screenplay by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, who were also responsible for Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, a smaller success released the month before The Hangover. The writing duo soon made their directorial debut with 21 & Over, another foul-mouthed comedy that starred Miles Teller and somewhat resembled The Hangover in its raunchy antics. They next made plans to direct their sophomore effort, based on another original screenplay.
