dirty grandpa trailerRobert De Niro and Zac Efron want to party 'til they're pregnant!

The two bro it the hell out in the new trailer for "Dirty Grandpa." De Niro is the titular patriarch, who goes on a road trip to Daytona Beach with his grandson (Efron) after the death of his wife. He's ready to cut loose and bag some hot babes. Efron is hesitant at first - he's engaged to be married - but soon finds himself accidentally smoking crack and playing flip cup next to gramps.

"Dirty Grandpa" looks like it fits right into Efron's oeuvre, while De Niro seems to be enjoying himself as the old dude opposite millennials (a la "The Intern"). There's nothing groundbreaking here, but it looks like the kind of raunchy fun that made "Neighbors" a hit.

"Dirty Grandpa" opens in theaters January 22.

J.J. Abrams Confirms No More 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Trailers

Posted:

Star Wars Force AwakensMight want to sit down for this news, "Star Wars" fans - that trailer everyone salivated over, dissected to the millisecond, and theorized about is the last one we'll see before "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" opens on December 18.

Director J.J. Abrams confirmed to Extra TV that "there will be commercials but no more trailers."

He said, "The next thing is really gonna be the movie." (Cue the cries of "nooooooooo!")

That means no more major clues about whether Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) turned to the dark side, who Rey (Daisy Ridley) really is, or how Han Solo (Harrison Ford) manages to get kidnapped ... yet again. We might get a little more footage in TV commercials, but generally, those kind of teasers never reveal much of anything.

Sigh. At least we won't have to tune into "Monday Night Football" again?

'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2' Teaser Promises 'Epic Finale'

Posted:

Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2The epic finale of "The Hunger Games" is just a few weeks away!

A new TV teaser for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2" aired during last night's World Series game, and it was filled with heart-pumping action, soaring music, and ride-or-die speeches. "This is the end," Haymitch (Woody Harrelson) tells Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence).

"If you end all of this, our lives - they mean something," Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) says. No pressure!
There's not a whole lot of new footage, though we get a couple of glimpses of the battle in the trap-filled Capitol streets. The teaser starts with call-outs to the previous three movies, and includes flashes of all the characters we've come to know and love (or hate), including Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Alma Coin (Julianne Moore), Johanna Mason (Jena Malone), and the villainous President Snow (Donald Sutherland).

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2" opens in theaters November 20.

Watch the 'Inside Out' Emotions React to the New 'Star Wars' Trailer

Posted:

Yay, corporate synergy! The Pixar-"Star Wars" mash-up you never knew you wanted is here.

In honor of next week's Blu-ray release of "Inside Out," Disney released a video of Joy, Sadness and the rest of the gang sitting down to watch the latest trailer for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." And the end result gives them "all the feels." (I regret nothing.)

And no, this is not fan-made video. This is Disney-certified, professionally-edited goodness. And like Sadness, we also think December 18 is way too long of a wait until we see the movie.

Heidi Klum: 'Project Runway' 2015 Finale 'Definitely Will Not Be Boring'

Posted:

It's the cardinal sin of any reality TV show to be boring and "Project Runway" Season 14 is determined not to go to fashion hell.

The 2015 season finale will air in two parts, with Part 1 tomorrow (Thursday, October 29) and Part 2 next Thursday, November 5. But the finale collection designs we'll see made this week and on the runway next week were already shown at New York Fashion Week back in September. The judges, finale guest judge Carrie Underwood, and other fashion favorites saw the designs in September and talked about what we'll be seeing.

"It definitely will not be boring," Heidi Klum told the NYFW audience (via USA Today). Six designers showed at fashion week, including at least two decoys, since the real finale will include either three or four designers (depending on whether they give Edmond Newton the Tim Gunn Save and if someone is eliminated before showing collections).

Marie Claire's Zanna Roberts Rassi was at the September runway and teased to USA Today, "There are so many parts that go into this...There was a little bit of a drama a few days ago; everyone was trying to get everything together at the last minute. I'm just looking forward to seeing the collections now."

There's always a little bit of drama, but now we're even more excited to see what's ahead. The designers all had seven weeks to create their collections and there's usually some kind of last-minute twist added to their stressed workloads.

If you want to see the collections now, you can check out the links over here, which will take you to all six collections. They walked the runway anonymously at the time, to avoid spoilers, but it's not hard to tell who did what.

Here's Lifetime's Finale Part 1 promo:

J.K. Rowling Uses 'Harry Potter' to Defend Israel-Palestine Position

Posted:

Everything -- even conflict in the Middle East -- is better understood through "Harry Potter" references. J.K. Rowling is the author of the "Harry Potter" novels, but she's also very active politically and regularly tweets about social issues. Sometimes that prompts fans to tweet back to her, using her own characters and their actions to argue against her position. Rowling has taken a stand against a cultural boycott of Israel, and that led to some backlash from fans. That, in turn, prompted Rowling to use TwitLonger to post an impassioned take on the situation -- using Dumbledore's meeting with Snape, and a time Harry chose non-violence, for reference.

Here is the entirety of her extended tweet, so you can tell how much careful thought she put into her argument, and get the full context:

Why Dumbledore went to the hilltop

I've received a lot of messages over the past few days that use my fictional characters to make points about the Israeli cultural boycott. This isn't a complaint: those characters belong to the readers as well as to me, and each has their own life in the heads of those who have read them. Sometimes the inner lives of characters as imagined by readers are not what I imagined for them, but the joy of books is that we all make our own mental cast. I've always enjoyed hearing about versions of Potter characters that exist in heads other than mine.

Many of the messages I've received in the last few days have included variations on the theme 'talking wouldn't stop the Wizarding War' and as far as that goes, it's true. Talking alone would not have stopped the Wizarding War and talking alone didn't. Voldemort believed that non-wizards were subhuman, so it's valid to draw comparisons between Voldemort and any real human being who regards other races, religions or sexualities as inferior. It would indeed have been a fool's errand to try and talk Voldemort or Bellatrix Lestrange into laying down their wands for love of their fellow humans. They have no love of humanity and they wanted domination, not peace.

I said above, and I stand by it, that every reader has the right to his or her own version of my characters. However, there is one central point about the Potter stories that is not negotiable: we can't pretend that it isn't there, or that it doesn't matter, when it is the crux of the books and in many ways the key to the story. It is also a point that to my knowledge (I get a lot of messages, so I cannot swear to it) has been lost in the many comparisons of Israel to Death Eaters.

In the final book, Deathly Hallows, when many hidden things come to the surface, there is a scene on a windy hilltop. Dumbledore has been summoned by a Death Eater, Severus Snape. At that point, Snape is a subscriber to the inhuman philosophy of Voldemort. He is probably a killer, certainly a betrayer of two of the people Dumbledore loved most, and the man who had sent Voldemort after an innocent child in the knowledge that Voldemort would kill him.

Again, to my knowledge (my memory isn't infallible, so forgive me if you did), nobody has ever asked me: why did Dumbledore go when Snape asked him to go, and why didn't he kill him on sight when he got there?

I think readers assume that Dumbledore is wise enough, knowledgeable enough and compassionate enough to sense that Snape, though he has led a despicable adult life, has something human left inside him, something that can be redeemed. Nevertheless, wise and prescient as Dumbledore is, he is not a Seer. At the moment when he answers Snape's call, he cannot know that Snape isn't going to try and kill him. He can't know that Snape will have the moral or physical courage to change course, let alone help defeat Voldemort. Yet still, Dumbledore goes to the hilltop.

I'm going to digress very slightly here, but there is a related point that bears making. Among the messages drawing parallels between the Potter books and Israel have been quite a few saying that 'Harry would be disappointed' or 'Harry wouldn't understand' my position. Those people are right, but only up to a clearly defined point. The Harry of six and a half books might not understand. Harry is reckless and angry for a considerable portion of those six and a half books and he has my whole-hearted sympathy. He has lost his family, he has had burdens put upon him that he never wanted, and he has been stigmatised all through his adolescence for carrying a scar left on him by a killer.

There comes a moment in the final book, though, when Harry, whose natural inclination is to fight, to rush to action, to lead from the front, is forced to stop and consider the cryptic message the dead Dumbledore has left him. Unfortunately, this message runs against counter to everything that Harry believes is necessary to win the war. He wants to race Voldemort to a deadly weapon, but Dumbledore has arranged things so that, while Harry will know that the weapon exists, he will also suspect that taking the weapon is the wrong thing to do. Harry cannot understand why using that weapon would be harmful, yet - grudgingly - he decides to act against his own instinct, and according to what he believes are Dumbledore's wishes. The decision sits uncomfortably with him. He remains doubtful about it almost up to the point where he comes face-to-face with Voldemort for their final encounter.

Unlike Harry, Dumbledore was not acting against his own nature when he chose to meet Snape on the hilltop. Dumbledore, remember, is not a politician; the Ministry is weak and corrupt, it enabled Voldemort's rise and is now doing a poor job of fighting him. Dumbledore is an academic and he believes that certain channels of communication should always remain open. It was true in the Potter books and it is true in life that talking will not change wilfully closed minds. However, the course of my fictional war was forever changed when Snape chose to abandon the course on which he was set, and Dumbledore helped him do it. Theirs was a partnership without which Harry's willingness to fight would have been pointless.

The Palestinian community has suffered untold injustice and brutality. I want to see the Israeli government held to account for that injustice and brutality. Boycotting Israel on every possible front has its allure. It satisfies the human urge to do something, anything, in the face of horrific human suffering.

What sits uncomfortably with me is that severing contact with Israel's cultural and academic community means refusing to engage with some of the Israelis who are most pro-Palestinian, and most critical of Israel's government. Those are voices I'd like to hear amplified, not silenced. A cultural boycott places immovable barriers between artists and academics who want to talk to each other, understand each other and work side-by-side for peace. I believe in the power of projects like this http://ow.ly/TSYCp and this http://ow.ly/TSZYx and this http://ow.ly/TSYik. I think it is a tragedy when medical research like this http://ow.ly/TSYoD is prevented.

I genuinely don't take it in ill part when you send me counterarguments framed in terms of the Potter books. All books dealing with morality can be picked apart for those lines and themes that best suit the arguer's perspective. I can only say that a full discussion of morality within the series is impossible without examining Dumbledore's actions, because he is the moral heart of the books. He did not consider all weapons equal and he was prepared, always, to go to the hilltop.

Well! That, class, is our lesson for today, straight from the queen. You don't have to agree with her, but she is the creator of the characters so if anyone should get the final word on how they would react to modern events, it's her.

Leonard Nimoy's Son Adam Will Be on 'The Big Bang Theory,' See First Photo

The late great Leonard Nimoy never managed to appear on "The Big Bang Theory," but the CBS show, and especially Sheldon (Jim Parsons), have mentioned Spock numerous times and the sitcom honored the "Star Trek" legend after his death in late February. Now his legacy will be honored by his son, Adam Nimoy, who will appear on the show's Thursday, November 5 episode.

Nimoy, and recurring guest star Wil Wheaton, will appear in "The Spock Resonance," with Adam asking Sheldon to be in a documentary about his father. As it happens, Adam is making a documentary, called "For the Love of Spock," after getting enough support on Kickstarter.

Here's CBS's first photo from the episode:As CBS teased of the big Nimoy/Sheldon meeting, "While being interviewed, Sheldon struggles to suppress his emotions about his recent break-up with Amy, despite his overwhelming excitement for the sci-fi subject matter."

Has Quentin Tarantino 'Destroyed His Career' With Police Brutality Protest?

Posted:

US-POLICE-RACISM-CRIME-PROTESTHow much does a celebrity's -- including a director's -- personal politics affect his or her career? It's hard to imagine Quentin Tarantino fans will really stop watching his films because he joined an anti-police brutality protest in New York. However, his actions, and strong words on the subject -- including accusing police of "murder," adding "I'm here to say I'm on the side of the murdered" -- have prompted New York and Los Angeles police departments to call for a boycott of QT's films.

Los Angeles Police Protective League president Craig Lally said in a statement (via MSNBC): "We fully support constructive dialogue about how police interact with citizens. But there is no place for inflammatory rhetoric that makes police officers even bigger targets than we already are. Film director Quentin Tarantino took irresponsibility to a new and completely unacceptable level this past weekend by referring to police as murderers during an anti-police march in New York."

Meanwhile, Fox News's Bill O'Reilly has been covering the subject, and -- no surprise -- the very right wing conservative thinks Tarantino went too far. In a talk with Baltimore criminology professor Jeffrey Ian Ross, O'Reilly said, "This Tarantino character, I think he destroyed his career, because anybody hearing that's going to think: 'You know what? Maybe I'm not going to see his movies'."

And yet QT fans may still watch his movies because they care about the films not the filmmaker's political views, or they may want to buy extra tickets specifically because of those views. His new film, "The Hateful Eight," isn't coming out until Christmas so we'll have to wait and see what happens then.

25 Greatest Horror Movie Heroines Ever, Ranked

Posted:

Why is the horror audience mostly female? One reason has to be the genre's long tradition of heroines, scream queens, or final girls.

They're the last ones left standing in the movie's final act, taking on the killer or monster while -- armed with little more than pluck and righteous anger (and the occasional sharp object). Then again, who doesn't enjoy watching a horror movie lead character overcome their fear and act like a badass? While not all horror movie heroines face-off with the Big Bad by the end of the film, they do suffer through all the jump-scares with us. It's a miracle we they come out alive.

Here are 25 of the best horror movie heroines who conquered demons -- both internal and external -- before conquering the multiplex.

Terry Deitz Leaves 'Survivor: Second Chance,' Updates on Son Danny

Posted:

This is the worst way to leave "Survivor." To promote tonight's October 28 "Bunking With the Devil" episode of "Survivor: Cambodia," aka Season 31, "Survivor: Second Chance," CBS teased, "One castaway is pulled from the game due to a family emergency; the players drop their buffs for a second time and switch tribes; players chow down on local delicacies to win immunity."

The promo showed Jeff Probst visiting one tribe at night, which is never a good thing. We heard Kass McQuillen say having someone go home like this is worse than anything you can imagine in "Survivor." And when Chaos Kass gets emotional you know things are serious.

What happened?

They showed it at the start of the episode, on Day 13 of the game. Terry Deitz, 55, of "Survivor: Panama" was pulled from the game when his son Danny was said to be seriously ill and hospitalized. Terry's wife called production and, when Jeff told Terry what happened, Terry immediately decided to leave.

It turns out that Danny needed a heart transplant but the good news is that he got it and he's now on the mend but OK.

Here are some tweets from Terry, posted back in July:
Here's a portion of a story from NBC Connecticut posted on September 11, which Terry retweeted the next day:

The Simsbury High School football team played Friday's game in honor of teammate Danny Deitz, who received a lifesaving heart transplant less than 24 hours prior.

Danny, 16, a wide receiver, suffered complications from an enlarged heart and missed pre-season after falling ill last spring. He's now recovering from a heart transplant at Boston Children's Hospital. [...] Football coach Dave Masters tweeted an update on Danny's condition early Friday after the hours-long transplant was complete. "Danny update: New heart is in and moving to ICU within the hour. Keep positive thoughts & prayers coming!" he wrote.

Danny has weeks of recovery and then it could be months before he returns to school. [...] But Danny has already been fortunate: the two-month wait for a new hart was much shorter than expected. The life-saving surgery came in time for his birthday, just two weeks away."

And here's a recent video of Danny heading back onto the field in October:
NBC updated with an October 9 story on Danny's recovery:

...Originally, Deitz had prepared for a long wait for a transplant but that wait ended after just two months.

"I get a call like 7:30 in the morning and we're like, let's do this," says Deitz.

The surgery lasted about seven hours and was considered a success. For now, Deitz is taking it easy and slowing regaining his strength.

He walks around his neighborhood, wears a mask to protect from getting sick, and takes medications to further help prevent the heart from being rejected. On Friday, he felt well enough to return to the football field, at least to watch the game against New Britain.

"It feels great. I wish I could be playing. Just being around the team is great," says Deitz.

Deitz says he was blown away by the support of his community. He hopes to return to school next semester.

"I'm still grateful for everyday I'm alive," says Deitz.

Terry Deitz isn't much of a tweeter, but on October 24 he did reply to a fan with a positive update: Best wishes to the Deitz family on Danny's continued recovery. It's a shame that Terry had to leave the game of "Survivor," but the family is winning the fight in real life. Danny is the real "Survivor" but not the "sole survivor" because he has so much support. Stay strong!

Brilliant 'Inside Out' Honest Trailer Lists Emotions Missing From the Movie

Posted:

Screen Junkies' Honest Trailers series usually roasts bad movies we love to hate, but the latest video takes on Disney/Pixar's instant classic "Inside Out," which makes grown men cry -- including during the trailer itself.

Here's a pretty good description for the movie:

Pixar built a reputation for stories that mess with your emotions. Now they've cut out the middleman and are messing directly with the emotions themselves in a film that teaches kids they aren't responsible for their actions -- it's just tiny people in their head pushing their brain buttons. You know, there's a word for that: schizophrenia!"

There's also a suggestion that 11-year-old Riley might be bipolar, since she swings from two extreme emotions. But at least the movie heads into a little girl's brain and not a guy's since, the trailer notes, that would probably be a porno.

After Joy and Sadness are sucked away, the trailer brilliantly adds, "Riley is left with only your average YouTube section to guide her: Rage, Fear, and Disgust." PERFECTION.

They also list a bunch of emotions that didn't make the cut of the movie -- empathy, reason, envy, tranquility, courage, hope, boredom, love, lust, and "that feeling you get when you peel dried glue off your fingers." (Isn't that usually disgust?)

It's beautiful:

And for good measure, here are the "Inside Out" characters watching the new "Star Wars" trailer:

'Project Runway': Edmond Newton Thanks 'Positive' Fans After Elimination

Posted:

"Project Runway" Season 14 designer Edmond Newton admitted he was shocked to be eliminated last week, but he showed nothing but class in his exit speech, and he tweeted appreciation for the support of his equally positive fans. It's possible our -- and his -- positivity stems from being 99.999 percent sure that Tim Gunn is about to drop that save on Edmond in tomorrow's Thursday, October 29 episode. But it's not a given.

This has to be an interesting week for Edmond. The PR fandom has filled the Internet with anger, sympathy, hope, and expectation. If Tim doesn't save Edmond, this is all just more salt in the designer's wounds. But we're all crossing our fingers, and Edmond has noticed. He tweeted a brief note for fans after he was eliminated and, earlier in the week, shared an Instagram post to speak for him:

#Nothingmoreneedstobesaid

A photo posted by EDMOND NEWTON (@edmondnewton) on

If Edmond wasn't having phone issues, he might've said more on the subject. Or he might be waiting for a certain save to happen before he says anything else. It's not over until Tim says we'll miss you (unless your name is Swapnil), but you need to head to the workroom to clean up your space. And that hasn't happened yet.

Lifetime isn't even being subtle about Tim Gunn maaaaayyyybe using his save, mentioning it in the new promo for Finale Part 1 and teasing "a shocking surprise that will have everyone tweeting." About Edmond? That may have been the entire point of eliminating him -- to create must-see drama before the finale.

Here's the promo:

Part 1 of the finale airs October 29 and then, sadly, we must say goodbye to the entire 2015 season next Thursday, November 5.

Don't Worry, 'Castle' Fans, That Major Death Blind Item Is for Another TV Drama

Posted:

So "Castle" fans can relax, but every other TV show's fandom should worry.

You may have read about TVLine's recent blind item about a drama series killing off one of its co-leads:

I'm hearing an established drama series that gets a fair amount of love on TVLine is set to whack its co-lead this season, so it's time to start clutching your Grandma's pearls. Details are super sketchy, but rumor has it the fatal twist is set to occur in this hour-long show's forthcoming fall finale. Meanwhile, there are conflicting accounts as to whether the death will actually stick. Given the importance this particular character has to the series, it's tough to imagine that it would. But in this Will Gardner-offing, McDreamy-snuffing TV world we live in now, I suppose anything is possible. This much appears certain: The episode in question will leave viewers with the very real impression that this fan favorite is a goner."

Since it was for a series that "gets a fair amount of love" on the site, fans thought it could be for "Castle," but also maybe "Once Upon a Time." (That one is still a decent guess.) The "Castle" showrunners Terence Paul Winter and Alexi Hawley took the show off the list in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

Winter said they're not killing anymore people off, since they killed Montgomery in Season 3 and that was enough. Hawley joked to EW, "[If it were true], I can't imagine we'd be sitting here saying you're going to be excited to see what happens in January. 'Beckett's dead, but dont worry about it, it's still going to be fun!' No, we're not. It's absolutely not true."

So "Castle" is off the hook. The blind item description sounds a lot like what just happened on "The Walking Dead," which also sounds a bit like what happened in the season finale of "Game of Thrones." It's now a TV drama epidemic to *maybe* kill a main character. This could easily backfire to the point where no death has any real meaning because we're not sure if they really are dead or just a tease.

10 Classic Horror Movie Scenes That Still Scare the Sh** Out of Us

Posted:

The test of a truly great horror movie is whether it can still scare the pants off of viewers even after repeated viewings. CG monsters may come and go, but the shark from "Jaws" and the shower scene from "Psycho" will live in our nightmares forever.

As we get into the Halloween spirit, we're looking back at 10 iconic horror moments that have stood the test of time. No matter how many times we watch these films, these moments always fill us with dread.

1. The Chest Burster Scene From 'Alien' (1979)
Poor Kane. Just when this plucky space trucker thought he had emerged from a close encounter with a Facehugger none the worse for wear, he found himself being devoured from the inside out. The fact that the actors weren't expecting the Chestburster any more than the viewers really made this scene that much more visceral.

2. "You're Going to Need a Bigger Boat" From 'Jaws' (1975)
For the first two thirds of "Jaws," the shark was mostly an unseen menace threatening the citizens of Amity. But this leviathan made its debut in a big way as it emerged from the depths and left poor Chief Brody shocked and stupefied.

3. Locked In the Closet From 'The Sixth Sense' (1999)
"The Sixth Sense" has plenty of scary moments, but none stuck with us more than the scene where Cole was locked in a small space with a very angry ghost. His screams of terror and pain were worse than anything the movie could have actually shown us.

4. The Elevator of Blood From 'The Shining' (1980)
"That's odd. The blood usually gets off on the third floor." Elevators are creepy enough for anyone who suffers from claustrophobia. But when you have elevators that act of their own accord, and spew rivers of the red stuff... well, we're not eager to visit any remote mountain hotels any time soon.

5. The Chest Attack From 'The Thing' (1982)
It's tough to think of a Hollywood monster more inhumanly terrifying than the titular creature from "The Thing." This scene started off with a good jump scare and then showcased the creature undergoing a grotesque, horrifying transformation even as it was torched to death by the ever vigilant MacReady. There's no way we'd be able to maintain our composure in that situation.

6. Ben Gardner's Boat From 'Jaws' (1975)
Can't fault us for having two scenes from "Jaws." This second jump-scare is a perfect example of why less is often more when it comes to horror. The tension of seeing Hooper dive into the water when a giant, man-eating shark could be anywhere in the area was bad enough. The shock of seeing the bloated corpse of Ben Gardner rear its head is enough to haunt our dreams even still.

7. The Head Spin From 'The Exorcist' (1973)
This scene is one of the main reasons why "The Exorcist" is still regarded as one of the scariest movies ever made. The sight of young Regan's head pulling a 360 isn't even as bad as the sound of her neck straining and cracking.

8. The Blood Geyser From 'Nightmare on Elm Street' (1984)
Johnny Depp's first claim to Hollywood fame was suffering through this incredibly gruesome death scene. The result was a geyser of blood big enough to make even the ghosts of the Overlook Hotel jealous.

9. Sloth Wakes Up From 'Seven' (1995)
It's clear from one look at the disturbingly emaciated body in this scene that John Doe's latest victim is dead. Which, of coruse, makes it all the more shocking when he wakes up and gasps for air.

As with "Alien," the fact that even the actors didn't know the body wasn't just a dummy really added to the impact.

10. The Shower Scene From 'Psycho' (1965)
Is there any place people feel more vulnerable than in the shower? "Psycho" certainly didn't help, as this dramatic murder (punctuated by some truly creepy string music) quickly became one of the most iconic horror scenes in Hollywood history.

Best of Late Night TV: Pup Quiz With Drew Barrymore, Hillary Clinton's Binge-Watch List

Posted:

If you're like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don't worry; we've got you covered. Here's the best of what happened last night on late night.

It's always fun when Drew Barrymore and Jimmy Fallon reunite. Here they are Tuesday night on "The Tonight Show," playing Pup Quiz with adooooooorable widdle Golden Retriever puppies. Jimmy got a feisty puppy but Drew got a bunch of them ... for a while anyway. A puppy also came back when Stephen Moyer was interviewed and he/she snuggled in his arms. (Awwwwww.) In her own chat, Drew talked about crashing an RV into a gas station during a cross-country road trip with Jimmy's wife, who is also Drew's best friend and work partner. It's a great story, but it could've used at least one puppy.

The "Tonight Show" is apparently getting a new Universal Studios ride, to open in 2017.Here's Jimmy describing the ride:

Hillary Clinton was on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert," because all of the candidates have to be on every show for the next full year, and she told Colbert she binge-watched some shows for her birthday. She and Bill finally finished "House of Cards" and she said she likes "Madam Secretary and "The Good Wife." So she likes all the shows that basically play off her own life? She also insisted she isn't running for anyone else's third term. "Portlandia" and Sleater-Kinney star Carrie Brownstein revealed her true passion, traditional English folk ballads, and shared one backstage: Carrie Underwood was on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," talking about dressing up her baby for Halloween and baby-proofing her tour bus. And after a segment on the $23,000 Titanic cracker (!), Guillermo stole Carrie's cracker backstage to try and sell on the black market.
According to Jimmy, the amount of fabric you wear on Halloween is directly proportional to your self esteem. So he did a great Pedestrian Question for the holiday -- Will You Be Sexy or Scary for Halloween?

It's baaaaack! Jimmy Kimmel's announced the annual tradition of parents telling their kids that they ate all their Halloween candy is returning, so parents are asked to troll their kids this weekend and post the results to YouTube so Jimmy can air the video on Monday night. Jay Leno doesn't like this segment, but it's hilarious every time.
Blake Shelton was on "Late Night With Seth Meyers" and said he loves mocking fellow "The Voice" coach Adam Levine on Twitter. However, he can both dish it out and take it, and he said he's cool with jokes about his marriage (falling apart) at the CMAs. Blake is always a great guest, and he also talked about working with Rihanna and the fact that Christina Aguilera's baby cried when she met him. Happens to the best of us!
Kate Bosworth, believe it or not, has a teenage stepdaughter. Her stepdaughter is a huge fan of Taylor Swift, and Kate is semi-friends with Taylor, so she e-mailed her to get concert tickets. Much Taylor love ensues.
Chef Estie Kung, who is only 8, was on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" and showed him how to make deviled egg with lobster and celery. She is so cute.
