If so, here's another great roundup of news for you, half of it for Team Marvel and half of it for Team DC. Captain America: Civil War Some cool new promo art for the upcoming Captain America (and Avengers) sequel arrived online this week, one seen above and another below. Iron Man is such a punk that he didn't bother to make his own propaganda poster, instead just defacing Captain America's. Goody two-shoes Steve Rogers, and probably those who stand with him, would never stoop so low. How Many Good Movies Does a Director Have to Make Before You'll Trust Them? Posted: 03 Mar 2016 05:35 PM PST Something strange is happening in the Internethood today. The first trailer for the new Ghostbusters arrived online and, to no great surprise, the Internet went into outrage mode. The comment sections on YouTube or Reddit or Twitter are minefields of hate. But this isn't yet another post defending the very idea of an all-female Ghostbusters movie. If having women Ghostbusters is a non-starter for you, it's your loss. You can shout all night long into your Xbox microphone about how you'll never see the movie (even though you totally will). Nobody cares. Welcome to what it's like when a major motion picture is not made with you in mind as the target audience. It wouldn't matter how amazing the trailer ended up being, there is simply a very vocal minority... Read More This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |

He rebooted the series with Man of Steel (2013) and will reveal the next installment when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in theaters on March 25. Beyond that, Snyder is committed to making Justice League: Part One, due out on November 17, 2017, and Justice League: Part Two, which is scheduled for release on June 14, 2019. Taking into account all the planning involved before Man of Steel, that will mark somewhere close to 10 years that Snyder has been making superhero movies. Time to Get Slimed! Watch the First 'Ghostbusters' Trailer Posted: 03 Mar 2016 12:19 PM PST Who you gonna call? 30 years after four nerdy dudes conquered a hoard of evil spirits invading Manhattan, four nerdy girls will attempt to do the same in a new reboot of Ghostbusters. Starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon (and Chris Hemsworth as their secretary), this newer, flashier version of Ghostbusters boasts upgraded effects and a new story, but even this first trailer teases some fun callbacks -- like a fresher and funkier version of the opening library sequence -- as well as the return of the ghost Slimer. In addition to those nods, many castmembers of the original Ghostbusters will pop up in cameos, but the film is clearly saving those moments for later. Check out the trailer below. Looks fun, right? There seems to be a lot of... Read More This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |
