Watch Emma Watson Explain How 'Regression' Made Her a More Confident Actor Posted: 11 May 2016 09:00 PM PDT Nearly every young actor who grows up a central part of a massively popular, teen-friendly film franchise faces a dilemma. What do they do once the franchise ends? Audiences the world over have pretty much only ever known them as one type of character. Do they cling to that image? Or do they do something radically different? Almost always they opt for something radically different. It happened with the heartthrobs at the center of Twilight. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson both moved on to make some really interesting, stirring indie movies. And now it's happening with the cast of Harry Potter. This year sees Daniel Radcliffe playing a corpse (Swiss Army Man) and Rupert Grint playing a con-man (Moonwalkers), but the winner of the most challenging role is Emma Watson... 'Nerve' Trailer: Emma Roberts and Dave Franco Play The Worst Version of Truth or Dare Posted: 11 May 2016 06:00 PM PDT We live in an increasingly interconnected world with constantly shifting ideas of entertainment. For decades people turned out to movie theaters or tuned in to TV shows to watch stories that took hundreds, if not thousands, of cast and crew to create. But now we're in an age where a generation can watch a live stream of someone else's life. And they don't have to be doing anything all that exciting, either. They could just be playing a video game or unboxing a toy. It's a fascinating shift in technology and communication that fundamentally changes the relationship between entertainment and audiences. This new generational fascination with live streaming collides with traditional filmmaking in Nerve, a new thriller from the creators of Catfish about people who... Check This Out: Jean-Claude Van Damme's Daughter Is Also Incredibly Badass Posted: 11 May 2016 04:30 PM PDT Bianca Van Damme may not be a household name, but she's been kicking ass (online and off) for a few years now. Her YouTube videos rack up hundreds of thousands of views, and her martial arts skillset (not to mention famous last name) has landed her a few roles opposite dad Jean-Claude in some of his lesser-seen movies. Now it seems she's trying to make a bigger go at the whole action-movie thing with a spread in the NY Post and a few upcoming low-budget films. “I want to show little girls and little boys that you can be physical and feminine," she tells the Post. "That you can cross your legs at the dinner table and then kick ass in a nice, feminine way.” Her message is great -- and we definitely need more women kicking... Watch below as Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick take the stage to perform a cover of Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors" for the Cannes crowd. In the film, Kendrick and Timberlake play a couple of trolls who team up to rescue their friends from a giant who's come to wreak havoc on their happy world (ie: he's hungry and he eats trolls). 'Godzilla 2' and 'Godzilla vs. Kong' Stake Out Release Dates Posted: 11 May 2016 12:00 PM PDT Warner Bros. has been tinkering with its release schedule. Godzilla 2, the sequel to Garth Edwards' monster hit Godzilla (above), has been delayed from June 8, 2018, to March 22, 2019, according to The Wrap.
