Emmys 2015: 'Empire' Creator Lee Daniels Slams Series Snub

Posted:

Premiere Of Fox's "Empire" star Taraji P. Henson may have made some Emmy history with her nomination for Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series, but the show's creator isn't too happy about its lack of other nods.

In an expletive-accentuated Instagram video post, "Empire" co-creator Lee Daniels expressed his disappointment over the show failing to score a Best Drama nomination, or any other major nominations outside of Henson's. "Empire" received just three nods overall, including two for costume design.

The video features Daniels and star Jussie Smollett, who appear to just be joking around, as Daniels explains, "Jussie's saying I have to be politically correct on Instagram." Smollett chuckles uncomfortably, and urges Daniels to "be nice" before Daniels suddenly shouts "F--k these motherf--kers!" and breaks into a huge laugh. He captioned the post with the hashtags, "#canfinallypostthis #timetoberealagain #emmyniceguyoverwith."

It's understandable that Daniels is upset, considering that "Empire" was the biggest hit of the television season and a ratings and cultural juggernaut. As Variety reports, Fox spent a lot of time and money campaigning for Emmys for the series; for it to wind up with only one high-profile nomination to show for its efforts is probably a pretty big disappointment for everyone involved. (The fact that it didn't score any music nominations is also a head-scratcher.)

Still, it's encouraging that Henson snatched a coveted nod, and Daniels and co. should at least find some comfort in that. As Cookie says, "I'm here to get what's mine." We'll see if she walks away with a statuette on Emmy Sunday.

Stephen King's 'It' Lands New Director Andy Muschietti

Posted:

'Mama' Madrid PhotocallHorror fans had high hopes for Cary Fukunaga's planned adaptation of Stephen King classic "It," before the director abruptly left the project back in May. Now, the flick has apparently found his replacement.

The Hollywood Reporter writes that Andy Muschietti is in negotiations to take over for Fukunaga, who departed the flick after reported differences with studio New Line over creative choices and budgetary concerns. While a relative newcomer in Hollywood, Muschietti has already proven his horror chops, directing and co-writing 2013 hit "Mama," which starred Jessica Chastain and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.

According to THR, "It" was supposed to have started shooting in June, but Fukunaga's exit threw a wrench in those plans, and there's no clear revised start date yet. Like Fukunaga's version, the plan is still to split the movie into two parts to service King's massive novel, and New Line will hire a new writer "to tailor a script to Muschietti's vision," per THR.

Another consideration for Muschietti is whether or not Will Poulter will remain involved with the flick. The young actor had been cast as evil clown Pennywise -- reportedly at the behest of Fukunaga, who loved Poulter's audition -- but according to THR, is "no longer officially attached but could possibly return depending on scheduling and other factors."

We'll have to wait for the ink to dry on Muschietti's contract before we find out more. Here's hoping he has more success with the adaptation than Fukunaga.

Emmys 2015: Viola Davis, Taraji P. Henson Could Make History

Posted:

2nd Annual Women In Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail PartyThere was lots to cheer about and lots to jeer about with the announcement of the 2015 Emmy nominations Thursday, and tucked in among the usual snubs and surprises was a bit of history surrounding the nods for Viola Davis and Taraji P. Henson.

The actresses, who are both up for the Best Leading Actress award in the drama category for "How to Get Away with Murder" and "Empire," respectively, are now the first two African-Americans to be nominated in that category in the same year. That bit of trivia aside, both Davis and Henson could make even more history during the ceremony should one of them snag the statuette.

According to TheWrap, an African-American has never won that particular award at the Emmys, and the likelihood of women of color even getting a nomination in that category has, sadly, been even more remote. The trade traces that stat's origins back to 1982, when Debbie Allen landed a nomination for "Fame," becoming the first-ever African-American woman to earn a Best Dramatic Actress nod.

Before Davis and Henson, "Scandal" star Kerry Washington was the most recent African-American woman recognized by the Television Academy on the Best Dramatic Actress slate, earning her first nomination in the category in 2013 (and another in 2014). But that was the first time in 18 years that a black woman was recognized in that category, following Cicely Tyson's nomination in 1995 for "Sweet Justice."

So while it seems that Davis and Henson have history against them, the very fact that they both earned nominations this year -- and already shattered one Emmy barrier -- seems to indicate that the tides are turning. Here's hoping that one of them can continue to break new ground when the Emmys air on September 20 on Fox.

Jennifer Lawrence Adorably Explains Her H2O Tattoo Mistake

Posted:

Comic-Con International 2015 - Lionsgate Press RoomJennifer Lawrence, who tripped and fell into our hearts at the 2013 Oscars, is charming fans all over again with another embarrassing-yet-relatable mistake, this time centered around her first-ever tattoo.

Lawrence explained her new ink in an interview with HitFix at Comic-Con last week, telling the site that her intentions for the tat began innocently enough. She was hanging out with her "Hunger Games" co-star Liam Hemsworth and his family, when everyone decided to get tattoos. Not wanting to be left out, Lawrence opted for something small on her hand.

But as the actress tells it, her idea for a subtle bit of ink didn't exactly go as planned. Lawrence said that she settled on getting the chemical formula for water, H2O, inked on her hand in a scar-colored shade, because "I'm always going to need to be hydrated." Unfortunately, the finished product ended up with an incorrect placement of the 2 (it should sit lower than the other symbols), thus rending it scientifically incorrect.

"I should have googled it before I got it tattooed on my body forever," Lawrence admitted to HitFix.

Watch the actress's adorable explanation below. (And don't worry Jennifer -- it could have been much, much worse.)

2015 Emmy Nominations: Snubs and Surprises

Posted:

Give the Emmys credit for at least trying to keep up with the current explosion of quality television.

This year, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences expanded the Best Comedy and Drama Series categories to seven slots each, and they made other minor changes (online voting!) meant to bring the awards into the 21st century. Still, there's more good TV now than even the Academy can keep up with, so the outrage and shock over the snubs and surprises in this morning's Emmy nominations is inevitable. Here are some of the most astonishing omissions and inclusions.

BEST DRAMA SERIES
The biggest shocker here is the snub of "Empire," the season's breakout hit. Was it too soapy or guilty-pleasure-ish for the Academy to take seriously? Fellow newbie/Twitter sensation "How to Get Away With Murder" was also snubbed. Golden Globe fave "The Affair" got no love, here or in other major categories. The voters' usual lack of enthusiasm for genre fare meant "The Walking Dead" was overlooked again. And the Emmys blew their last chances to recognize "Sons of Anarchy" (a show they snubbed throughout its existence) and "Justified."

The Academy decided "Orange Is the New Black" is a drama, not a comedy, so its inclusion among this year's nominees is a novelty but not a surprise. Neither are nominations for frequent winner "Mad Men," frequent nominees "Game of Thrones" and "Homeland," "Downton Abbey" (nominated every year it's been on), and "House of Cards" (ditto). Many pundits expected a vote for Netflix's new "Bloodline" (honored this year in other major categories), but it didn't get in. The lone new series to make the cut this year was "Better Call Saul," perhaps taking over the slot its predecessor, "Breaking Bad," owned for years.

BEST COMEDY SERIES
There weren't many surprises this year, with five-time winner "Modern Family," frequent nominee "Louie," and "Veep" (nominated every year it's been on) taking their usual slots. It's nice to see "Parks and Recreation" get a final salute. Other pleasant surprises: nominations for "Silicon Valley" and Netflix newbie "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt." Also new, but not surprising: Amazon's Golden Globe-winning and timely "Transparent."

In fact, there were so many good comedies this year that perennial Emmy favorite "The Big Bang Theory" got snubbed. So did new shows that might have earned a spot, like "Black-ish," "Fresh Off the Boat," and "Jane the Virgin." Sorry, "Jane" fans, but Emmy seems not to know that the CW exists.

BEST LIMITED SERIES
That's what they're calling mini-series now. As expected, "American Crime," "American Horror Story: Freak Show," "Olive Kitteridge," "The Honorable Woman," and "Wolf Hall" all made the list. Snubbed were "Houdini," "The Missing," "Sons of Liberty," "Texas Rising," and "24: Live Another Day," though none of those snubs was a surprise.

BEST MOVIE MADE FOR TELEVISION
This was a wretched year for TV movies. So wretched that LIfetime's "Grace of Monaco" got in. (At least "Whitney" didn't.) So did "Hello Ladies: The Movie," "Nightingale," and "Bessie," though given HBO's perpetual domination of this category, those aren't surprises. Also expected: Acorn's "Agatha Christie's Poirot: Curtains, Poirot's Last Case" and National Geographic's "Killing Jesus." Again, a weak year.

BEST ACTOR, DRAMA
As with "Empire" in the Drama Series category, star Terrence Howard was robbed. Also, no love for Dominic West ("The Affair"), Clive Owen ("The Knick"), or Emmy fave James Spader ("The Blacklist.") But Liev Schreiber surprised the pundits by getting a nod for "Ray Donovan." He's good, but given the way Jon Voight steals the show, few predicted the voters would notice Schreiber.

Kyle Chandler's nomination for new series "Bloodline" was expected, and so was Bob Odenkirk's nomination for new show "Better Call Saul," though it's a surprise considering that he made his name as a comic actor. Newsroom" star Jeff Daniels seems to have snuck in based on the Academy's reflexive love for Aaron Sorkin and HBO. Kevin Spacey ("House of Cards") has been nominated for all three of his show's seasons, and Jon Hamm has now been nominated all eight years he's been eligible for "Mad Men." Maybe this year he'll finally win.

BEST ACTRESS, DRAMA
There would have been blood in the streets if Taraji P. Henson ("Empire") and Viola Davis ("How to Get Away With Murder") didn't get nominated. And you can't argue with perennial nominees Claire Danes ("Homeland"), Elisabeth Moss ("Mad Men"), and Robin Wright ("House of Cards"). But that meant a lot of deserving actresses didn't make the cut, including Julianna Margulies ("The Good Wife"), Caitriona Balfe ("Outlander"), Lizzy Caplan ("Masters of Sex"), Michelle Dockery ("Downton Abbey"), Ruth Wilson ("The Affair"), Keri Russell ("The Americans"), and Taylor Schilling ("Orange Is the New Black").

One who did, shockingly, is Tatiana Maslany of "Orphan Black." Given the Emmys' usual distaste for genre fare and their past snubbing of Maslany's incredible performance in multiple roles on this show, everyone expected her to get ignored again -- and everyone is gobsmacked (but happily so) that she wasn't.

BEST ACTOR, COMEDY
"Big Bang Theory" star Jim Parsons has been nominated six times and won four, but this year, the Academy finally snubbed Sheldon. That's the biggest shocker in the category. Also somewhat surprising: nods for Anthony Anderson and Will Forte from new shows "Black-ish" and "The Last Man on Earth." Some experts expected a sentimental vote for "The Comedians" star Billy Crystal, but it didn't happen.

"Silicon Valley" star Thomas Middleditch got a nod for the first time, but that was expected. So were nominations for perennial favorites Don Cheadle ("House of Lies"), Matt LeBlanc ("Episodes"), and William H. Macy ("Shameless"), though maybe it's a surprise that Showtime now dominates this category. Least surprising was a nomination for "Transparent" star Jeffrey Tambor, who'll probably repeat his Golden Globes win.

BEST ACTRESS, COMEDY
The happiest surprise is the inclusion of Amy Schumer; sure, she's been absolutely on fire this year on "Inside Amy Schumer," but Emmy voters rarely recognize sketch comedy. Also a happy surprise: the inclusion of Lisa Kudrow in the uncompromisingly dark comedy "The Comeback." For Netflix's new "Grace and Frankie," Lily Tomlin won her first-ever nomination as a comedy lead, though her co-lead Jane Fonda got snubbed.

The rest of the slots went to frequent nominees. Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who's won for all three previous seasons of "Veep" has another shot this year. Probably bad news for Edie Falco, nominated for the seventh and last time for "Nurse Jackie," and for Amy Poehler of fellow defunct comedy "Parks and Recreation." Bad news also for the many worthy comic actresses who were snubbed: Golden Globe winner Gina Rodriguez ("Jane the Virgin"), Tracee Ellis Ross ("Black-ish"), Constance Wu ("Fresh Off the Boat"), Ellie Kemper ("Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt"), past Emmy darling Lena Dunham ("Girls"), and Melissa McCarthy ("Mike & Molly").

BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR, DRAMA
There were some surprising names on the list: Michael Kelly ("House of Cards"), Jim Carter ("Downton Abbey") and Alan Cumming ("The Good Wife"). They took slots that might otherwise have gone to Mandy Patinkin ("Homeland"), Jon Voight ("Ray Donovan"), Jussie Smollett ("Empire"), and John Slattery ("Mad Men.")

Less surprising: nominations for Peter Dinklage ("Game of Thrones") and Jonathan Banks ("Better Call Saul"). The nod for Ben Mendelsohn ("Bloodline") is a surprise only if you haven't watched the new Netflix series.

BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS, DRAMA
This was the most predictable category. Christine Baranski got her sixth straight nod for "The Good Wife," as did Christina Hendricks for "Mad Men." Last year's winner Uzo Aduba ("Orange Is the New Black") is up for a repeat. Repeat nominees Joanne Froggatt ("Downton Abbey") and Lena Headey and Emilia Clarke ("Game of Thrones") are back again. Alas, that meant no room for Aduba's co-star Kate Mulgrew or Froggatt's co-star Maggie Smith.

BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR, COMEDY
In a happy surprise, given the Academy's avoidance of sketch comedy, Keegan-Michael Key made the list; still, how come he was nominated while "Key & Peele" co-star Jordan Peele was snubbed? Another happy surprise: newcomer Tituss Burgess, nominated for "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt." Raise a glass of pinot noir!

The rest of the category went to more predictable names, including Andre Braugher ("Brooklyn Nine-Nine"), Adam Driver ("Girls"), and Tony Hale ("Veep"). Last year's winner, Ty Burrell, earned his sixth straight nomination. That means his "Modern Family" co-stars, including Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet, were ignored. So were snubbees Fred Armisen ("Portlandia"), Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston ("Grace and Frankie"), Hugh Laurie ("Veep"), Laurence Fishburne ("Black-ish"), Tony Shalhoub ("Nurse Jackie"), Jaime Camil ("Jane the Virgin"), and T.J. Miller ("Silicon Valley"). And the Academy missed its last chance to acknowledge Chris Pratt and Nick Offerman of "Parks and Recreation." Somewhere, Ron Swanson is shedding one manly tear.

BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS, COMEDY
Two big surprises in this category: First, that there were so many worthy candidates that vote-splitting led to eight nominees. Second, that one of them was Niecy Nash of HBO's otherwise ignored "Getting On." The voters also managed to find room for Allison Janney (who won last year for "Mom"), Julie Bowen (who's won twice for "Modern Family"), Anna Chlumsky (who had a breakout year on "Veep"), Kate McKinnon (still the standout performer among the current "Saturday Night Live" cast), Jane Krakowski ("Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt"), Mayim Bialik (the lone major nomination for "The Big Bang Theory"), and Gaby Hoffman (that's how much the Emmys love "Transparent").

Hard to quibble with any of these, though some expected Hoffman's castmates Judith Light or Amy Landecker to be recognized. "Modern Family"'s Sofia Vergara is absent. You could argue for "Kimmy Schmidt"'s Carol Kane over Krakowski. And the Emmys missed their last chance to honor Merritt Wever for "Nurse Jackie" (though she did win two years ago), Jane Lynch for "Glee," and Betty White for "Hot in Cleveland." But otherwise, it's hard to muster up the usual outrage here, as in other Emmy categories this year.

Disney Is Making a Live-Action 'Aladdin' Prequel About Genie

Posted:

aladdin, genieDisney is once again dipping into its live-action-versions-of-its-animated-classics pool, this time commissioning a prequel to '90s hit "Aladdin."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney is working on a flick called "Genies," which would delve into the world of the titular big blue guy, who was voiced by Robin Williams in the 1992 original. The trade describes the prequel as "a live-action comedy adventure" that will "reveal how Aladdin's Genie ended up enslaved in the lamp."

And the prequel isn't the only trick Disney has up its sleeve: According to THR, the plan is for that flick to then lead to a live-action remake of "Aladdin" itself. It's unclear just how far off those plans are, though, since "Genies" still needs to get off the ground.

As of right now, the prequel project has writers Damian Shannon and Mark Swift attached to pen the screenplay. Sadly, the late Williams won't be back to reprise his iconic Genie performance, and whoever takes on the role has some huge shoes to fill. We're curious to see who Disney and co. can find to take on such a beloved character -- and whether "Genies" will be as magical as "Aladdin."

Stay tuned.

Tatiana Maslany Thanks 'Orphan Black' Fans After (Overdue!) Emmy Nomination

Posted:

If you have time to attend a mid-afternoon party, we recommend heading to @OrphanBlack. As Stefon might put it, that Clone Club has everything -- ecstatic messages, clever gifs, and tweets from famous fans like Amy Schumer to support "Orphan Black" star Tatiana Maslany, who was FINALLY nominated for an Emmy. When Tatiana's name made the list for Outstanding Actress in a Drama, fans of the BBC America show were pleasantly surprised and gratified, to say the least. Yeah, now the real (half-joking) question is how many trophies Tatiana should get if she wins, since she plays so many characters. So far, Tatiana has only shared one tweet about her own nomination, but she responded to "Orphan Black" fan -- and fellow Emmy nominee -- Amy Schumer, who was happy for Tatiana to break the snub streak: Congrats to Tatiana! Now we just have to wait until September 20 to see if she wins. Check out the full list of 2015 Emmy nominees.

Knee-jerk reactions: Funny how sometimes OITNB is a comedy, sometimes it's a drama. "The Walking Dead" fans are going to be ticked that it was left out again -- especially with AMC new kid (even though it's a "Breaking Bad" spinoff) "Better Call Saul" getting attention. Once again, cable is king -- with Netflix as the prince and the networks still lowly subjects picking up occasional nods. Good for "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" for its nominations, which should give the Netflix comedy more attention. Congrats to Jon Hamm for showing range with both drama and comedy nominations. Good for "Game of Thrones" for getting multiple supporting actor/actress nods, although ... yeah, maybe that's fair. There are no real "lead" actors or actresses, it's a true ensemble. Props to the "Freak Show" crowd for dominating the limited series category. And, wait, is that Tatiana Maslany FINALLY being nominated for "Orphan Black"? Hallelujah! Maybe "The Americans" fans will get to feel that un-snubbed magic next time.

Andy Samberg is hosting the Emmys, which will air September 20 on FOX. There are more Emmy nominations in the writing/directing/technical categories here.

How do you feel about the nominations this year?

2015 ESPY Awards - ShowLast night, at the 2015 ESPYs, Caitlyn Jenner was presented the Arthur Ashe Courage Award. Before Cait made her acceptance speech, U.S. Women's Soccer team star Abby Wambach introduced a video package, narrated by Jon Hamm, showing Caitlyn's journey from Olympic athlete Bruce Jenner to a woman working to improve the lives of fellow transgendered people.

"This transition has been harder on me than anything I could imagine, and that's the case for so many others besides me," Caitlyn said during part of her emotional, inspiring speech. "For that reason alone, trans people deserve something vital - they deserve your respect. And from that respect comes a more compassionate community, a more empathetic society, and a better world for all of us. ... It's not just about one person - it's about thousands of people. It's not just about me. It's about all of us accepting one another. We're all different - it's not a bad thing. That's a good thing."

8 Minor Characters Who Stole the Movie

Most movies have a few fun minor characters that pop up just to move the plot along. But sometimes a movie offers up an actor who can take the smallest role and make it the best part of the entire movie. Even though these actors have limited screen time, they're the ones you talk about when you leave the movie -- and the one's you're still quoting months later.

Here are 8 minor characters that ended up being the best part of their respective movies.minor characters who stole movies

It's Official: TLC Cancels '19 Kids and Counting'

Posted:

It took TLC long enough to make it clear, but no more kids will be added to the title of the now defunct "19 Kids and Counting." The reality show was just officially canceled by the network; a brief statement to The Associated Press (via People) revealed the series "will no longer appear on the air."

As you know, back in May, it emerged that Josh Duggar had been investigated for child molestation and two of his victims were his own sisters. At the time, TLC pulled the show from the air, but it was only airing reruns, there was still question over whether the show would return at some point.

Last October, TLC pulled "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" after the Mama June/Mark McDaniel child molestation scandal. After the Duggar scandal, Mama June voiced her frustration with TLC's "double standard" to immediately cancel "Honey Boo Boo" but let "19 Kids" stay in limbo. Now they are both gone. Justice? Or do you think TLC should show more support (or take more blame) for the families they put on the air?

People Cody WalkerWhen Paul Walker died in 2013, his brother Cody Walker, now 27, helped Universal Pictures finish "Furious 7" as a stand-in for his older brother. (Their brother Caleb did the same.) Now, Deadline reports, Cody has landed the first major acting role of his own: as a Navy soldier in "USS Indianapolis," directed by Mario Van Peebles and starring Nicolas Cage as Captain Charles McVay in an adaptation of the true 1945 story of the men who were stranded and attacked by sharks for five days in the Philippine Sea.

So far the reaction to Cody's casting has been mixed. Some fans are thrilled for him and sure Paul would be proud and happy to see his brother launching his own acting career. Other fans -- including almost everyone in the comments section under Deadline's exclusive -- are crying nepotism, wondering what Cody did to earn a major film role besides look like his brother and stand on set in his place.

It's not like Cody would be the first person to follow a famous sister/brother/mother/father into Hollywood. It happens all the time -- from Anjelica Huston and Angelina Jolie to Scott Eastwood and Nicolas Cage himself, who is actually a Coppola. But to some, Cody's casting feels like studios trying to replace Paul and capitalize on their relationship and resemblance. At any rate, this movie role sounds like a great opportunity, and for all we know Cody did everything every other aspiring actor does -- auditioned and earned it! -- so we're looking forward to seeing "USS Indianapolis" and judging Cody and everyone else by their own merits.

20 Things You Probably Didn't Know About 'Clueless'

Posted:

It's hard to believe it's been 20 years since "Clueless" first hit theaters. And by "hard to believe," we mean "we refuse to acknowledge how old we're getting."

Since the movie's debut, we've learned a lot about it, but not everything -- like how crazy the casting process was, or that they had a special surprise guest during that party scene in the Valley.

Here are 20 things you might not have known about the ultimate teen movie.

The Force Is Strong With Amy Schumer in Sexy 'Star Wars' Spread

Apparently those were the droids she was looking for! Ahem. Amy Schumer owns the cover and (occasionally raunchy) inside spread of GQ's August comedy issue. The Comedy Central and "Trainwreck" star is dubbed "the funniest woman in the galaxy," getting the Princess Leia treatment in photos someone should probably hide from Luke Skywalker.

Follow this tweet to see all the pics, shot by Mark Seliger for GQ: Here's a look at the cover image: And for good measure, here's a GQ feature from Amy, also showcasing a larger version of the photo above:
Amy's new movie "Trainwreck" opens this Friday, July 17. Meanwhile, you can see the "Star Wars" gang (in a less sexy setting ... we think) on December 18 when "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" debuts.

19 Judd Apatow Movies, Ranked From Worst to Best

Posted:

Judd Apatow is such an ubiquitous figure in comedy -- as a producer, director, and writer -- that it's hard to believe he's actually not associated with certain films. He had nothing to do with "I Love You, Man" or "This Is the End," even though those films star actors from his comic stable and center on the bromantic relationships that have become his trademark.

His new film "Trainwreck," opening July 17, marks a departure for Apatow; it's the first movie he's directed that he didn't write (Amy Schumer stars in, and also cowrote, the romantic comedy). In honor of his new movie, we've ranked and filed 19 Apatow films -- those he either wrote and directed or produced -- that you need to see.

Best of Late Night TV: Amy Schumer's Emotional Interview and 50 Cent's Bankruptcy

Posted:

If you're like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don't worry; we've got you covered. Here's the best of what happened last night on late night.

Amy Schumer started things off with an appearance on "The Tonight Show" (praying for Jimmy Fallon's finger), and she gave a super emotional interview. Watching Jimmy and her talk to each other as "horny and scared" was amazing.

Paul Rudd is better than all your faves, so please enjoy his appearance as a Rudd-obsessed audience member on "Late Night." Our new life motto is "enough of this crud, bring out The Rudd."

In other Paul Rudd news, apparently he and Jon Hamm used to compete for ladies. As if there's any competition ("Bring Out The RUDDDDDD!")

50 Cent just filed for bankruptcy, and naturally Conan asked all kinds of awkward questions about it during his late night visit. Behold, 50's financial musings.
