| Wet Hot American Summer Series Heads to Netflix Posted: 23 May 2014 01:01 PM PDT  It's been known for some time that writer/director David Wain has been looking to return to the world of his 2001 cult comedy Wet Hot American Summer, which brought together much of the talent from MTV's 1990s sketch comedy show "The State". Today, Variety reports that such a project is finally moving forward, but is now planning to go the small screen route and will instead arrive as a ten-episode series on Netflix. |
| A New Doctor Who Teaser Promises August Return Posted: 23 May 2014 11:19 AM PDT  A brief trailer for "Doctor Who" season eight (or 34, for longtime fans) has debuted via the BBC. While it offers very little in terms of footage, it does confirm that Peter Capaldi's 12th Doctor will make his first non-cameo debut this August.
