Angela Bassett's better known as an actor than she is as a director, but it looks like she'll be taking some time out from in front of the camera to helm a TV movie based on the life of Whitney Houston. Lifetime announced plans today for an original movie, tentatively titled Whitney Houston, which will be directed by Houston's Waiting to Exhale co-star Angela Bassett.
