'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6 Episode 13 Recap: -A Is Back, and Is Now a Devil Emoji Posted: First of all, slow-claps, Freeform. "Pretty Little Liars" continues to be the best show on television, despite the fact that ABC Family has mutated into some vague version of The CW. This week, everyone's favorite drama-fest served up a plate of good times — aside from whatever is going on with Ezra's facial hair. That is a distinctly bad time. Find out what happened with Spencer and Caleb's blossoming relationship below, plus details on the reemergence of -A. Spencer and Caleb Are Totally Making Out, It's All Happening, etc Look, we're all trying to pretend like this isn't a thing, but Spencer appears to have some sort of weird crush on Caleb — despite the fact that he's obviously in love with Hanna and the fact that hdjsahdjsak, what is even happening, PLL writers?! For some insane reason, Spencer decides to tell Hanna about her Caleb Feels (terrible idea, nope), and for an even more insane reason, Hanna gives her seal of approval. But wait, it gets more painful: Caleb is totally crushing on Spencer, and they definitely make out after he sensually strokes her hand for a solid ten seconds. Are we kinda into it? Do we hate it? Not sure, too many emotions to process. Don't Worry, Emily Isn't Dying Curious to know what's wrong with Emily? Turns out she's so broke that she decided to donate her eggs, a fact that Hanna finds out when she discovers Em shooting a giant needle into her leg. Just some casual hormones, don't worry about it! Meanwhile, Sarah Harvey literally won't leave Emily alone, and Spencer reveals that she hates the liars due to the fact that they accidentally electrocuted her the night A was captured. Apparently Sarah can't use her hands due to said electrocution, so perhaps her grudge is understandable? Either way, the struggle. Ezra Is Not a Killer, Or So He Wants Us to Think Pray for Ezra. This tragic man has taken to day drinking because his girlfriend was abducted and killed (seriously, what, someone explain), and he just can't get it together to write his book. The good news? Aria's basically writing it for him. We're not sure if this is plagiarism, but it's definitely weird. What else is new? Meanwhile, the liars are still convinced that Ezra murdered Cece due to the major serial killer vibes he's projecting, and he's super offended. Who knows what to believe, but Ezra's in a very dark place. All we really know at this time is that Aria uttered the sentence, "Ezra likes small women" in utter seriousness in this week's episode. Do with that information what you will. Hi, Lucas! Remember when Hanna deleted footage of Aria leaving her hotel so she wouldn't be implicated in Cece's murder? Well, now Ashley Marin is taking the blame due to being said hotel's owner. Ugh, kids, right? Fortunately, Lucas shows up (LOL, oh right, him) and after announcing that he's a tech genius living in Palo Alto, he agrees to give the girls an alibi for the night Cece was murdered. Said alibi is hugely unconvincing, but you know, at least he tried. Most importantly, there appears to be a new A in town, only now he's signing texts with a devil emoji face. Is this a "Scream Queens" cross over that no one told us about...? This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |
Disney Says Marvel Movies 'Will Go on Forever' Posted: There's good news and bad news for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Even more movies than the ones already planned for Phase 3 are coming. Unfortunately, there's no way you'll ever be able to see them all. That's the word from Disney chairman Bob Iger, who revealed in an interview with BBC Newsbeat that the Mouse House has big plans for the "thousands" of Marvel comics characters who haven't had their chance to shine on the big screen yet (and even more in store from those audiences already know and love, like the Avengers crew). In the next three years alone, there are 11 MCU projects set to hit theaters, including more installments of "Captain America," "Thor," "Guardians of the Galaxy," and "The Avengers," as well as the introduction of new heroes like Black Panther, Doctor Strange, and the Inhumans. It's certainly an impressive -- and daunting -- slate of projects, but according to Iger, fans haven't seen anything yet. "Marvel, you're dealing with thousands and thousands of characters -- that will go on forever," Iger told Newsbeat of the property's future cinematic prospects. And while the box office for "Avengers: Age of Ultron" was lower than expected, the CEO promises that audiences are still very much invested in the Marvel movie brand -- and Disney plans on giving the people what they want, in perpetuity. "No, I don't think [moviegoers are] getting weary," Iger said. "But I think we keep raising the bar in terms of telling stories that bring them back, that excite them, that make it feel new and that is what we do for a living." Based on Marvel's (and Disney's) past success, we wouldn't bet against them -- even (to borrow a phrase from another Disney property) to infinity, and beyond. A Bradley Cooper Doppelganger Is Crashing Sundance Parties Posted: The Sundance Film Festival is in full swing in Park City, Utah, and has attracted scores of celebrities to attend screenings, panel discussions, and plenty of glitzy parties. But one celeb who's not there is still making his presence known, in the form of a head-turning doppelganger. Both People and Page Six report that a man who looks an awful lot like Bradley Cooper -- who does not have a film playing at the festival, and who is not currently in town -- has been passing himself off as the star to crash several parties at the festival. The shenanigans started this weekend when the doppelganger reportedly started dropping Cooper's name to try to get into some high-profile private bashes. According to People, it sort of worked, and for two nights in a row this lookalike snuck into some impressive parties -- or tried to, anyway. Here's the lowdown on his M.O., per Page Six:

Abe Vigoda, 'Godfather' and 'Barney Miller' Star, Dies at 94 Posted: Abe Vigoda, a veteran character actor best known for roles in "The Godfather" and sitcom "Barney Miller," has died. He was 94. Vigoda, who passed away in New Jersey of natural causes, became known for his signature hangdog appearance, and was the repeated target of death hoaxes frequently touting his demise. That odd occurrence became a running joke throughout the latter half of his career. The then-middle-aged actor was all but unknown when he landed the role of Tessio in 1972's "The Godfather," a part he reprised as part of a flashback in "The Godfather Part II" in 1974. He went on to appear in film such as "The Don Is Dead," "Newman's Law," "The Cheap Detective," "Joe Versus the Volcano," and "Jury Duty." But television took up much of the rest of Vigoda's career, where he shone as always-on-the-verge-of-retiring Detective Phil Fish on beloved comedy series "Barney Miller." The character was so popular that he launched his own spinoff, "Fish," in 1977, and Vigoda appeared on both shows for a time. He later had guest-starring roles on series including "Hawaii Five-O," "Kojak," "The Bionic Woman," "The Rockford Files," "Eight Is Enough," "MacGyver," "Murder, She Wrote," "Law and Order," "Wings," and "As the World Turns." Vigoda was predeceased by his wife, Beatrice, who died in 1992. He is survived by a daughter, Carol Vigoda Fuchs. John Krasinski and Emily Blunt Expecting Second Child Posted: John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are expanding their family: The couple just revealed that they are expecting their second child. A rep for Blunt confirmed to Us Weekly that the actress is pregnant. Blunt had recently been spotted on the New York City set of her new film, "The Girl on the Train," wearing an oversized coat, prompting speculation that she was expecting again. The couple didn't reveal how far along the actress is. Krasinski, 36, and Blunt, 32, tied the knot back in July 2010 at a ceremony in Italy, after dating for two years. They're already parents to daughter Hazel, 23 months, who was born in February 2014. Both actors had hinted back in August that they were eager to add to their little family, when they told Entertainment Tonight that they hoped to give Hazel a sibling someday, but "didn't know when." Looks like they decided to get started sooner rather than later. Congrats to the growing family! This Behind-the-Scenes 'Fuller House' Sneak Peek Gets Emotional Posted: Home is where the laughs are. This new behind-the-scenes sneak peek at "Fuller House," Netflix's sequel to the classic '90s sitcom, proves that you really can go back home, even after a couple decades have passed. Star Candace Cameron Bure debuted the featurette on "The View," and in the clip, she promises, "'Fuller House' carries the same emotional, loving, family tone through the show that the original did." The video shows glimpses of wacky hijinks, callbacks to the show's signature catchphrases (including "Have mercy!" and "How rude!"), and the emotions the actors experience as they reprise their characters. "Fuller House" brings back Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, John Stamos, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, and Lori Loughlin for 13 episodes, all available to stream on Netflix on February 26. Miley Cyrus Starring in Woody Allen's Upcoming Amazon Series Posted: Guess who's coming in like a wrecking ball to Woody Allen's upcoming Amazon comedy? Deadline reports the veteran filmmaker has cast Miley Cyrus in the untitled project. Allen himself and "Small Time Crooks" actress Elaine May will also star. This marks Allen's first time creating a television show and Cyrus's first return to "television" since her "Hannah Montana" days. Cyrus confirmed the news on Instagram: The six-episode half-hour comedy series is set in the 1960s but that is all that is known about the show. Last year, Allen told Deadline that he "regretted every second since I said OK" to the Amazon deal. Want more stuff like this? Like us on Facebook. From "Lawrence of Arabia" to "Gone With the Wind," there's a collective guilt us movie fans feel when we realize we've seen "Mannequin 2" (cringe) or a Paul Blart joint instead of an Oscar-winning classic collecting dust in our queue.
