When it comes to Fantastic Four, the studio is incredibly tight lipped and is keeping almost all of the details close to its chest. And that's for a movie that comes out later this summer. | 'Guardians' Director James Gunn's Next Script Is the Most Uncompromising He's Ever Written Posted: 01 Apr 2015 05:30 PM PDT It may not be immediately obvious from watching Guardians of the Galaxy, but writer-director James Gunn is a horror guy in his heart. Granted, Guardians is a bit edgier than most of the Marvel movies, but it's certainly not nearly as violent as his past films like Super, as gory as Slither, or as grungy as Tromeo and Juliet. We love the more family-friendly movies Gunn's plenty capable of (he wrote the live-action Scooby-Doos, which are actually pretty clever), but we also dig those movies, so we're relieved to hear that he hasn't hung up his horror hat just yet.
