Elisabeth Moss Would 'Totally' Do A 'Mad Women' Spinoff
"Mad Men" is about to head into the remainder of its final season and it's hard to believe we'll have to say goodbye to some of TV's best characters so soon. No spinoffs have been announced, but that doesn't mean we're against the possibilities... And apparently neither is Elisabeth Moss, who plays copy chief extraordinaire, Peggy Olson.

'Full House' Reunion Series 'Fuller House' Coming to Netflix: Report

Posted:

Have mercy: Could the Tanner family be making a small-screen comeback soon? Yes, according to a new report.

TVLine writes that Netflix is on the cusp of greenlighting a "Full House" reunion series, dubbed "Fuller House," that would follow members of the ABC sitcom family as adults. According to the site, the 13-episode series would focus on D.J. Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure) and best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber), and feature guest appearances from "Full House" regulars Bob Saget, John Stamos, and Dave Coulier.

Rumors of a proposed "Full House" reboot swirled last summer, though that report stated that Jodie Sweetin, who played middle sister Stephanie Tanner, would also be involved. TVLine's report makes no mention of Sweetin's potential involvement; we're guessing that the Olsen twins are also not planning on appearing.

According to TVLine, original creator Jeff Franklin and original producers Thomas L. Miller and Robert L. Boyett are all slated to work on "Fuller House," too. Stamos will also produce the new series.

Netflix and studio Warner Bros. are staying quiet about the report so far, but considering how close the cast has remained over the years, we wouldn't be surprised to see them reunite for more Tanner adventures. Maybe the cast can sing the theme song themselves this time around?

Here's the Groovy First Teaser for Starz's 'Ash vs Evil Dead' (VIDEO)

Posted:

Ash vs Evil Dead, the evil dead, starz
Starz has released the first teaser for its upcoming "Evil Dead" sequel series, "Ash vs Evil Dead," and while it's short on plot, it's enough to get fans' chainsaws revving in excitement.

The brief clip is really meant to tout the reunion of the franchise's original masterminds, made up of creator/director Sam Raimi, producer Rob Tapert, and star Bruce Campbell, who are all producing the series. It also features the show's logo -- a callback to the original "Evil Dead" poster -- and yes, Campbell's character's infamous chainsaw arm.

The official synopsis, per Starz's press release:

Campbell will be reprising his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons -personal and literal. Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its "Evil" grip.

"Ash vs Evil Dead" also stars Lucy Lawless, Jill Marie Jones ("Sleepy Hollow"), Ray Santiago ("Touch," "Meet the Fockers"), and Dana DeLorenzo ("A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas"). The series is set to premiere on Starz sometime later this year.

'Winnie the Pooh' Joins Disney's Live-Action Reboot Slate

Posted:

Film Review Winnie the Pooh
Disney's live-action reboot express keeps chugging along, adding children's classic "Winnie the Pooh" to the lineup.

Deadline reports that the studio plans to make a live-action adaptation of "Pooh," with an indie auteur at the helm. Alex Ross Perry, known for Sundance hit "Listen Up Philip," will shepherd the new feature, though it's unclear if he's simply writing, directing, or both.

According to the trade, the new "Pooh" film will focus on an adult Christopher Robin, who returns to the Hundred Acre Wood and reunites with his childhood pals, including the titular bear. The last time Pooh and co. hit the big screen was in 2011.

The "Pooh" news comes just days after a report suggesting that Disney plans to remake another one of its animated hits, "Mulan," into a live-action flick. Those films follow the planned live-action versions of "Dumbo" and "Beauty and the Beast," as well as the current theatrical smash "Cinderella."

The New 'Poltergeist' Trailer Will Scare the Pants Off of You (VIDEO)

Poltergeist
Creepy clown dolls are never a good investment, as proven by the new trailer for the upcoming "Poltergeist" reboot.

That terrifying object is just one of many that will make you jump in this clip, which centers around the paranormal investigator (Jared Harris) who comes into the Bowen home to help them get back their daughter, Maddie (Kennedi Clements), who's been kidnapped by the titular tormentor.

"This isn't just a few pissed off spirits," Harris not-so-helpfully explains. "It's a poltergeist."

The spirit causes hallucinations, odd electrical surges, and objects to move freely about the house, preying up the Bowens' predisposed fears to make their lives a living hell. Harris urges the family to clear their minds (not unlike in "Ghostbusters," before Dan Aykroyd unwittingly summons the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man), though it seems the Bowens are still in for a world of trouble.

"Poltergeist" also stars Rosemarie DeWitt and Sam Rockwell. It's due in theaters on May 22.

'The Gift' Trailer: Jason Bateman Is Just Not That Into You (VIDEO)

Posted:

The Gift
Is there ever a polite way to tell a creepy high school acquaintance that you never want to see him again? According to "The Gift," the answer is no -- and also, that acquaintance is probably far creepier than you ever imagined.

The thriller centers around married couple Simon (Jason Bateman) and Robyn (Rebecca Hall), who randomly run into Simon's former classmate, Gordo (Joel Edgerton), and are soon barraged by expensive gifts left on their doorstep and multiple unannounced visits -- seemingly all while Robyn is home alone. Simon tries to sever the rekindled friendship, but unfortunately for him and Robyn, Gordo isn't going away without a fight (and kills their fish and throws a brick through their window, for good measure).

You know someone's in trouble in a movie when they actually say out loud, "I'm very happy," so obviously that means Simon is doomed. As Gordo reminds him menacingly, "You think you're done with the past, but the past is not done with you."

"The Gift," which also marks Edgerton's directorial debut, comes from "Paranormal Activity" and "The Purge" mastermind Jason Blum's production company, Blumhouse. It's due in theaters on July 31.

Sorry, 'Twilight' 'Shippers: Robert Pattinson Is Engaged to FKA Twigs

Posted:

Surface Magazine Event With Hans Ulrich Obrist And FKA Twigs
We have some bad news for "Twilight" fans hoping against hope that former costars (and former flames) Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart would one day get back together: Pattinson is reportedly engaged to British musician FKA twigs.

The news was broken by an unexpected source: rapper T-Pain, who accidentally revealed the hush-hush engagement during an interview with Vulture. Talking about influences on his new album, T-Pain said that he's a huge fan of twigs -- but probably wouldn't get the chance to work with her anytime soon, because she's busy planning her wedding.

"[S]he's engaged now, so that's about to be a whole other thing," the rapper said of the perpetually-busy songstress.

When pressed about that bit of information, T-Pain told Vulture, "Yeah, to ol' Patty [Robert Pattinson]. I don't know if she wanted anybody to know that ..."

Apparently, T-Pain really wasn't supposed to let the cat out of the bag, and later tried to play off his gaffe as an April Fools' joke. But People reported on Wednesday that that the pair is indeed engaged, citing two anonymous sources as proof.

Reps for Pattinson and twigs are staying quiet about the news for now, though People reports that the pair -- who have been dating for about six months -- had previously exchanged promise rings, and reportedly live together.

No word yet on how Stewart -- or millions of "Twilight" 'shippers -- is taking the news.

Best of Late Night TV: Rihanna's Prank on Jimmy Kimmel and Pharrell Williams' R&B Dance (VIDEO)

Posted:

If you're like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don't worry; we've got you covered. Here's the best of what happened last night on late night.

What happens when you get a bunch of comedians to host late night shows on April Fools? So many pranks -- but our favorite of the night had to be Rihanna, who snuck into Jimmy Kimmel's house, staged a mini performance of "Bitch Better Have My Money," and threw dollar bills on him. The best part was learning that Jimmy wears a mouth guard to bed. 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!': Rihanna Pranks Jimmy Kimmel

Rihanna and Jimmy also participated in the New York Collaborates for Autism Twizzler Challenge, which basically consisted of them eating a Twizzler "Lady and the Tramp"-style. Watch your back, Molly McNearney!

Time for another "Kimmel" YouTube challenge! This time, Jimmy asked viewers to say "April Fools!" to their friends as they took a sip of perfectly normal morning coffee. It goes without saying that everyone had a collective freak out.
Over on "The Tonight Show," Jimmy and Pharrell Williams took a walk down memory lane by checking out clips from '80s R&B duo Afro & Deziak. The catch? They filmed said clips live in between breaks from their interview -- which means they had mere seconds in-between costume changes. The results were hilarious -- and also Pharrell needs to spend more time in pink sequins, please.
Looks like Katie Couric loves a good prank almost as much as Rihanna! She pranked "The Late Late Show's" James Corden by falling down the stairs upon entering his sound stage -- but fear not! It was just a stunt double.

Ringo Starr visited "Conan," and while he didn't fall for a prank, he did share some of his personal Beatles-era photos. In the words of Ringo "we had nothing else to do so we just photographed each other."

Finally, Billy Eichner and David Letterman hit the streets of New York and asked people what the host with the most should do post-retirement. Hilarity ensues, as it always does when Billy and David get together.
