What Would Your Prison Nickname Be? Posted: Waiting for a new season of "Orange Is the New Black" (come on, June 12th!) is like spending six weeks in solitary: it feels like forever. So while away the hours leading up to the Netflix series' Season 3 premiere by taking the quick quiz below and discovering what your nickname would be if you got locked up in Litchfield Penitentiary. Posted: ABC is taking the red sharpie to "Revenge." After four seasons of shocking twists and crazy cliffhangers, the drama will come to an end in the May 10 finale. "We can officially tell our fans that this will be the end of the story," executive producer Sunil Nayar told Entertainment Weekly. "We've been talking to the network and we all just wanted to make sure that we felt very confident. Now that everybody has seen the finale -- which is fabulous -- everybody understands that as much as we all adore the show, it has hit exactly the mark it needed to to end." "Revenge" debuted on ABC in 2011 and immediately made a splash, drawing 10 million viewers. But after moving to Sundays, the show began to lose viewers. This past Sunday's episode was watched by just 4.45 million. It seems appropriate that the soap should end now, since Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) has achieved her revenge against the Graysons and finally outed herself as Amanda Clark. Plus, Madeleine Stowe's character, Victoria Grayson, was recently killed off. Now all that's left is to resolve Emily's current troubles -- she's in jail after being framed for Victoria's death. Nayar promised that "Revenge" would go out in pure "Revenge" style: "There are epic emotional moments in the finale," he said. "There are really shocking things that happen in the finale." Chris Hemsworth Had No Idea 'What the Hell Was Going on' in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Posted: When we were on the set of "Avengers: Age of Ultron" last summer, we watched Chris Hemsworth shoot a scene set in Avengers Tower, where he has a chat with The Vision, the new, purplish robo-god introduced in the third act of the highly anticipated sequel. The Vision (played by Paul Bettany) looked cool and imposing, every square inch of his skin covered in prosthetics, but Hemsworth? Well, Hemsworth was Thor. In between takes he chatted with his stunt double, a burly man who throws the hammer when the megawatt star is unable, and it became clear, after a few minutes, that Hemsworth was bigger than his stunt double. Truly, he is an Asgardian king. And in "Avengers: Age of Ultron," you get to remember why you liked Thor so much in the first place, after the dreary sequel "Thor: The Dark World." Thor is funny again, with Hemsworth's comic timing once again calibrated to perfection, and he also has his own mysterious mini-arc, brought about by the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) showing him a potential vision of the future. It's all great stuff for Hemsworth to play with. Now if only he could fit through human-sized doorways. We got to chat with the Avenger about what it was like being funny again, why Loki wasn't in this movie, what went wrong on "Blackhat" and what he thought of his particular Doritos flavor. Moviefone: In this movie, Thor gets to be funny again! Was that something you were excited about returning to? Chris Hemsworth: Yes, definitely. It was something that I had wanted to do. It was the first thing I said to Joss. We had fallen into a bit of a dark thing in the second one, and it was a little too earnest. But that was also the story and that's fine, I'm proud of that. But this time I wanted to do something different. It's more relatable in this one; there's humor and he's grounded. I'm glad you seemed to think so because I haven't seen the film and I'm glad it made the final cut. Was there anything else you lobbied for Joss to include? The humor was the thing, but also just being relevant -- not just being there for the sake of it. There's so much going on and so many characters being introduced that your insecurity goes into overdrive and you go, "Well, wait, am I even going to be in this film?" So I was just making sure that I was still a part of the Marvel team. You get to have a lot of screen time with The Vision, which is very cool. What was it like to see Bettany in one of these movies in physical form? He's one of my favorite actors, and for that character to be so memorable as just a voice in the previous films says something about his talent. Until he turned up and read those lines and embodied that character, I didn't even know what the story was about. And then he brought it to life on such a scale, the whole thing was amazing; we just fall in step and follow suit. That was certainly the case for me as Thor. There's a crazy scene where you go into some kind of mystical pool. Do you know what I'm talking about? Yeah yeah yeah. In the movie, in the final cut, it seems like you go back to Asgard or have a vision quest. But Loki isn't there. Did you shoot something with Tom Hiddleston? Ohhhh, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to answer that. I haven't seen the movie. Ask me again after I've seen the movie. [Laughs] It was all about nightmares, wasn't it? That's what she stirred up, and the setting was, I guess, irrelevant on the larger scale but quite relevant to us as individuals. It being set in Asgard or some similar kind of place was quite poignant for those characters, and Thor's vision obviously takes place in Asgard. And I think he's tapping into a larger threat; there's the immediate problem on earth but Thor is sensing the universe colliding, so to speak, which ties into the next bunch of Marvel films. So it was nice to be clued into that. Did they tell you that it was going to pay off later? How much do they let you in on? A little bit, but ultimately they're the creators of it all, and we just turn up. But you know it's always evolving. Even this film, the original script was quite different than what ended up on screen. So who knows. Can you talk about those differences? Well, I just mean how we're all involved in it and what our relationship is to it. I mean, a lot of my stuff, to be honest, we were putting off because it wasn't shot until the second half of the shoot. So I was on set as a placeholder and, through the process, me and Joss were workshopping ideas and leading towards what would happen towards the end of the film. We wedged it into the end of the schedule. I don't remember it in any great detail, I just remember constantly trying to figure out what the hell was going on. Maybe it wasn't changing; I was just trying to understand it. You obviously have some very lovely action figures but this time around you're also on a Doritos bag. [Laughs] Okay. Your flavor is Spicy Nacho. Uhhhhhhh... What about Thor says "Spicy Nacho" to you? [Laughs] I don't even know. I didn't even know that was the case until you told me. Let me tell you now -- thank you for telling me that, I better now get a lifetime supply of Doritos. Just your flavor, not anybody else's flavor. Yeah, I don't want that other crap. I was a big fan of "Blackhat," which came out earlier this year. But it wasn't really widely accepted. Do you have any theories about what happened there? [Laughs] Look, for me to be able to work with Michael Mann, who has made some of the greatest films out there, from "Last of the Mohicans" to "Heat," two of my favorite films, it was such an amazing opportunity to work with him. If we could figure out the formula to why things work and how they're received, great; we'd all be incredibly successful. But it's a roll of the dice every time and you just do the best you can. They either land or they miss, and that's kind of it, but you can't think of the end result as much. I try and think, Am I going to learn something from this process or have an experience that's memorable or work with someone whom I admire? And that was the case. 'Irrational Man' Trailer: Emma Stone Is Hot for Teacher Joaquin Phoenix Posted: A sad sack older man finds a new zest for life after meeting a beautiful, much younger woman ... yup, here comes another Woody Allen movie. The trailer for "Irrational Man" lays out all the familiar tropes of an Allen movie: Joaquin Phoenix is an alcoholic, depressed philosophy professor who can't "remember the reason for living." But he strikes up a relationship with one of his students, Emma Stone, and rediscovers the joy of living. If you're a fan of Allen's movies, this is probably right up your alley - it looks great, it boasts a great cast (including Parker Posey), and it's got some witty dialogue. "Irrational Man" opens in theaters July 17. This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |

'Dancing With the Stars' Recap: 10th Anniversary Trip Down Memory Lane Posted: It's finally here, dance fans! It's the big blowout 10th anniversary celebration of "Dancing with the Stars," as they remind us of some of the wild, crazy, awkward, painful, and stellar moments of the past 20 seasons. There's a lot jam packed into this special, as past contestants and winners return to share in the fun. During resident-opening-number-choreographer Mandy Moore's exciting first group routine, lots of stars return, hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews fly in on a giant "10," and the four judges, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, Len Goodman, and Julianne Hough, make their grand entrance. Lots of cutaways to the audience show many other past stars who have returned but are apparently not dancing tonight, like Sabrina Bryan, who we're reminded of also by last night's shocking elimination. Like Willow last night, Sabrina was a frontrunner in both of her seasons (5 and All-Star season 15), but she was eliminated in week 6 both times. There have been several shocking moments like that in the series, and I'm frankly a little disappointed they don't mention them tonight. But they're probably trying to only show the good sides of the show. A package runs through all the season winners, from season 1's Kelly Monaco -- who later does a paso doble in a teeny tiny bikini, with Val in an equally minuscule speedo--to the reigning champ, season 19's Alfonso Ribeiro. I'm sorry to admit I haven't watched every season, and it seems I've definitely missed some splendid dancing and dramatic moments. We see several of those moments in various ways, from themed packages to bizarre holograms. Drew Lachey and Cheryl Burke's groundbreaking Season 2 freestyle routine is mentioned at least twice, even though Cheryl couldn't be at the event live. We also see a hologram of Steve Wozniak attempting the worm, which as Tom points out, is a difficult image to get out of your head. Mark and Sasha, filling in for injured Derek, perform a group number with six of the previous female competitors: Kristi Yamaguchi, Amy Purdy (who looks even more amazing now), Maria Menounos, Amber Riley, Katherine Jenkins (who is four months pregnant), and Chelsea Kane. As fun as the routine is, the most amazing moment for me is that incredible costume change! How on earth did they do that? At first I thought it was a lighting trick or something, but Amber went from black pants and a top to a cute red dress. That's more than just lighting. That's wild. Two very dramatic packages follow: the first shows the various mishaps in the show's history, from wardrobe malfunctions and flying shoes to horrifying falls and injuries, to classic temper tantrums and walkouts--not to mention the classic Maks-Len "bromance" (not really). The second (after a commercial break and a bumper from Billy Ray Cyrus) discusses the immense inspiration DWTS has brought to viewers, particularly from competitors Amy Purdy, J.R. Martinez, Heather Mills, Marlee Matlin, and this season's Noah Galloway. It's tear-inducing and poignant. Finally we get to one of the two highly promoted events this evening: a Ballroom Showdown between the two most recent champions, Alfonso Ribeiro (with partner Witney) and Meryl Davis (with partner Maks). It's so great to see both of them back and dancing again, especially Alfonso, who is just as dynamic as last season (I know, it hasn't been that long). They both do great routines, though I like Alfonso's just a tiny bit more because it has a little more variety (like that hip-hop section along with the salsa part). I will say that for all the cool tricks and big fancy lifts, Meryl and Maks still impress with just a simple walking step. In a fascinating package, the pros talk about how much the show has changed and developed over the seasons. Since its simple beginnings where the couples just got on the floor and danced, the show now has big group numbers, team dances, fancier tricks, lots of different dance styles, more involved props and sets (like the "Inception room" for Derek's inverted routine), higher production values, and of course playing plenty with technology and visual effects. It's an awesome time capsule of the history of the show. Former champion and new host of the upcoming Perfect 10 tour, Melissa Rycroft is in the ballroom to promote her new gig, but also dances a samba with Tony. She still seems guarded, but she looks beautiful. The judges then, in a package, tell us what they look for in a routine, and choose the one number over the seasons that stands out for them. This isn't too surprising, especially Len's standard: he looks for impeccable technique, which he found in Hélio Castroneves's quickstep. Carrie Ann prefers the emotional impact (which we could tell from the two 10s she awarded last night), and chooses Amy Purdy and Derek's stunning contemporary routine. Julianne looks for artistry, citing Donald Driver's argentine tango, and Bruno is downright scary in his passionate plea for passion in Mel B.'s paso doble. OK, Bruno, that's way more about you than I ever wanted to know. Len also mentions what he considers is the biggest change in the show over the years: as evidenced by the production values, the standard continues to get higher, especially the bar set by the dancers. That's true, thank goodness. There's still an issue with voting, but I sure hope the days of Master P are long gone. After the DWTS football players dance a nerve-wracking routine where they toss the women pros around like footballs, it's time for the second big event promoted this evening: Patti LaBelle, Amber Riley, and Lil Kim sing LaBelle's mega hit, "Lady Marmalade." It's such a great song, and these are three powerhouse women. You can just imagine this is a dream come true for Amber. It's a bit chaotic, but it's also very entertaining--and reminds me I need to watch Moulin Rouge! again. Before a massive final group line dance with everyone in the cast, there's a sweet package about how the show has changed people's lives. Bill Engvall is particularly poignant about this, and confesses that he misses the show. I appreciate this a lot, but the positive affects are more a result of the dancing aspect than the show aspect. I'd love for them to promote that and remind the general audience that they too could earn those benefits if they just give dancing a try. So what do you think, dance fans? Did you enjoy the 10th anniversary celebration? What were your favorite moments? This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |
Jeremy Renner Loves Hawkeye's 'F--k You Moment' in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Posted: The first "Avengers" movie was supposed to incorporate Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), a lethal sharpshooter who works for S.H.I.E.L.D. and who, after being briefly introduced in "Thor," would have taken a much larger role in the superhero team-up movie. But then, after being on-screen for about 15 seconds, the character was hypnotized by Loki into doing his evil bidding and ostensibly written out of the movie until the final action sequence in New York City. That's when Hawkeye really shined... the other two hours of the movie, not so much. So it should delight and surprise just about everyone that Hawkeye pretty much steals the show in this week's "Avengers" sequel, "Avengers: Age of Ultron." A second-run character in everyone's eyes, since he can't fly or turn into a giant green range monster, Hawkeye's humanity ends up being his true superpower and he not only gets the most interesting subplot of the entire, overstuffed spectacle, but he also gets the single best line in the entire movie. We got to talk to Renner about how much of his character stuff was supposed to be for the first movie, if he would star in a stand-alone film, what he thinks of his Doritos flavor, and we press him for updates on those other two franchises he's a part of: "Mission: Impossible" and "The Bourne Legacy." Moviefone: When the first "Avengers" came out, you were pretty vocal about the character not being exactly what you had talked to Marvel about. So when you read the script for this one, what was your reaction? Jeremy Renner: It was a sigh of relief. It was kind of what we had talked about for the first one. But I knew for a very long time what they were wanting to do and then they were finally able to do it. I mean, writing that first "Avengers" movie is almost an impossible feat. And now, knowing what they know now and doing it and that first one being successful, they can sort of dig into the character a little bit more, which I found to be very, very exciting. Finally! Amazing! Can't wait! How much of it was stuff that you had talked to Joss about for the first one? A lot of it. But in a different way. I can't really speak to it because there's a lot of things hidden away in this one that mean a lot of different things for a lot of different characters. Scarlet Witch kind of goes into the Avengers' minds and drudges up their darkest fears, but she doesn't get to do that for Hawkeye. Did you guys ever shoot anything for that stuff? Well, again, that was part of the whole redemption thing. Since he was hypnotized by Loki last time, eventually everybody gets hypnotized this time around by Scarlet Witch. But I didn't. That was another sort of, for lack of a better word, "f*ck you moment." That was amazing. I really loved that moment in the movie. It was like, Yes! He might only be a human with a bow and arrow, but that doesn't mean that I'm the weakest guy in the thing. You also get the best line in the movie, when you're explaining to Scarlet Witch how none of this craziness makes sense. Yes! I love it! Did you know, while reading it, that it was going to kill. Or did you come up with that on the day? Well, that little speech to Scarlet Witch, which was definitely in one of the earlier drafts and definitely stayed throughout, which I was happy about since sometimes things get lost. So I thought it was a cool moment and you never know how those things will feel or play. We shot it and it seemed to go well but you never know. You've seen the final movie, right? Yes, I have seen the final movie! There are obviously so many things happening, all the time. Was there anything that you shot that you wish had stayed in the movie? Actually, I don't think so. That was one of the first things I said coming out of it. I was really, really happy with the movie, and I thought everybody was terrific in it, and the movie was terrific and there were things that I knew, in the back of my head, that didn't make it in, but I didn't miss any of it. I was very happy with what made it in and the end result of it all. Hawkeye has this amazingly full arc. Where do you think he goes from here? It's beyond my pay grade. But Kevin [Feige] and others have ideas... I could be dead. I could be a lot of things. But I think they laid a lot of great starting points. What's great about this world is the relationships. They have made some great scenes with other people and other Avengers. Well, he certainly seems ripe for further exploration. Is a solo movie something that you're ready to do? Well, I know that there's a lot going on with this character. I never thought about a solo movie and, again, this is beyond my pay grade and not really my decision to make. So it's hard to really want or not want any of these things in my life. But after seeing this movie, I thought, Oh, wow, there's really a lot to explore here. And I thought that for a lot of these characters. I'm not sure what they've got planned, but I'm excited to be a part of it. It's cool that you're an action figure, but you've also got your own Doritos bag. Have you seen that? They just showed that to me today! I'm actually drinking a can of Diet Dr. Pepper that I'm on. It's a little weird. A lot of people have action figures, and I call them the touch-myself dolls. Like I don't really want to touch myself. So I find it kind of weird. It looks kind of cool. The Hot Toys action figure is pretty amazing. But I don't want it. Maybe somebody else does. But I don't know what they'd want to do with it. Your flavor is Chile Limon Dynamite. [Howls with laughter] I'm hot! I'm en fuego baby! [Continues laughing] Does Hawkeye scream "Chile Limon Dynamite" to you? [Laughs] He's a little spicy! I'm not quite sure... You're so good in "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol." And you've got another one coming up. How did that turn out? You know, I don't know a whole lot about that one. I haven't seen it, and it was quite a big movie with a lot of moving parts, so it's hard to speak to. I know that a lot of the boys are back, with Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames and the addition of Alec Baldwin, who is amazing, and of course Tom. So we had good fun and I think there's going to be some really great action. But I'm sure it's going to be a fantastic part of the series. When you were initially cast in the last movie it seemed like you were being groomed to take over the franchise. Is that still the case? No, no, no. That's always been Tom's movie. He's never really done any sequels ever. [Super-nerdy editor's note: Cruise starred in "Color of Money," which was a Paul Newman-led sequel to "The Hustler," and had a brief role in "Austin Powers in Goldmember," the third film in that franchise. At the time of Tony Scott's suicide, he was in development for "Top Gun 2" and is currently in talks for a sequel to "Jack Reacher."] But there were no discussions of me taking over, really, but just joining that world, whatever that means. I think they liked the idea of me being the mysterious guy, where you're not quite sure of what my skill set is and what side he's on. I find myself in those roles often. [Laughs] But I have no problem with that. Keep people guessing, keep people guessing... What's going on with your "Bourne" series? Yeah, they're going again pretty soon, I think. But I'm not sure what's going on with Aaron Cross and that whole part of that world. Again, that's outside my pay grade. I'm sure they want to make something. But I'm just focused on doing press for this movie and maybe having some lunch. I can't think that far ahead. But I'm sure there are some discussions somewhere, talking about those things. Jared Leto's New Selfie Suggests Joker Will Be Jacked Like Superman Posted: There's still time for Jared Leto to get the last laugh, or at least some respect, after so many fans mocked the first look at his Joker. "Suicide Squad" director David Ayer shared a photo last week and it was instantly hit with memes and then given the Jack Nicholson treatment. But revenge is a dish best served with a can of whoop-ass, and Jared shared an intimidating muscled-up selfie on April 28, with the new look suggesting his Joker will be super-buff. Here's his tweet, with tons of cryptic emoji, and then the photo: Look at him with that Superman logo. So Joker. What do you think of this new look and what it implies for the Joker's physique? "Suicide Squad" is scheduled for an August 5, 2016 release. This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |
'Game of Thrones': Lonely Jon Snow Hits 'Lowest Place' in Season 5 Posted: Poor Jon Snow. He's constantly told he knows nothing, and even though he was just elected Lord Commander of the Night's Watch in "Game of Thrones" Season 5, he literally won by one vote and was immediately defied in his first executive order. Yeah, Melisandre seems into him (he does know how to attract aggressive gingers), but it's lonely at the top. Jon Snow's dream was to be Jon Stark, then maybe First Ranger like his uncle Benjen, not Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, separating him from his friends even as more enemies approach. Kit Harington discussed Jon's journey in a new interview with The Daily Beast, and shared a sad and rather frightening tease about Jon's Season 5 future:
All together now: "Awwww." What extreme action will he take and what will be his lowest point? Book readers may think they have an idea, but we've seen so far this season that when it comes to predicting how The Powers That Be will change the storylines, well, we know nothing. Hulu Nabs 'Seinfeld' Reruns and New 'Walking Dead' Spinoff Episodes Posted: Get OUT, Netflix! Last year, Netflix made some new "Friends," but Hulu is now trying to match that move by purchasing the SVOD (subscription video on demand) rights to "Seinfeld." Oh, and right after that news came out, during Hulu's NewFront presentation on April 29, it was revealed that Hulu also landed an exclusive output deal with AMC. That deal will include all upcoming episodes of "The Walking Dead" spinoff/companion series, "Fear the Walking Dead." Hulu is just out with all guns blazing right now. "Fear the Walking Dead" The "Walking Dead" spinoff will debut later this summer (no official date yet) with six episodes, with a second season to follow in 2016. Variety said Hulu only mentioned that spinoff, but the deal with AMC will probably include more programming that has yet to air on the network, and it also includes other channels in the AMC family, including IFC, BBC America, Sundance TV, WE tv and IFC Films. It's pretty big and, they added, a similar deal did well for Netflix and AMC in 2011. "Seinfeld" Back to the "Seinfeld" purchase. According to Variety, that deal is valued at just under $1 million an episode, although Deadline heard it's around $700,000. The financial details aren't being disclosed, but there are 180 episodes of the NBC comedy, so that's around $130M-$180M to split between Sony Pictures V, Time Warner's Castle Rock, and "Seinfeld" profit participants, including Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David. It's not nothing! Deadilne said it may even be close to double the per-episode price that "Friends" landed from Netflix. The "Seinfeld" episodes are scheduled to premiere in June. Hulu recently made a deal with CBS TV Distribution for more than 300 episodes of "CSI." They're really putting a lot of money into this, investing in very popular shows. So far, some commenters are frustrated that more shows are going to Hulu, since it means more commercials. If that ends up hurting Hulu, they may have to change their ways, but for now they seem to be doing pretty well. This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |
Justin Bieber (So Hot Right Now) Joins 'Zoolander 2': See His Blue Steel Photo Posted: It may seem too campy to have Justin Bieber join the cast of "Zoolander 2," but this is Derek Zoolander we're talking about, and he definitely seems like the kind of guy who would either bond with or be threatened by the Biebs. Maybe both. This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |
Ang Lee's 'Hulk' Is Smashed, Painfully, in Super Honest Trailer Posted: In honor (sort of) of the May 1 premiere of "Avengers: Age of Ultron," Screen Junkies took a good look at one of The Hulk's previous cinematic efforts, Ang Lee's 2003 "Hulk." As the "Hulk" Honest Trailer begins, "You loved Mark Ruffalo. You tolerated Edward Norton. But admit it, you forgot about Eric Bana until I said his name just now. Get ready for the most forgettable movie about a giant rage-filled monster ever made in 'Hulk.'" Lee's "Hulk" is dissed as "a two-hour long think piece" and "one of the dullest superhero movies ever made." Meet Bruce Banner, a "monotone, unlikable scientist" we wouldn't like when he's angry ... or calm ... or acting. "Witness Banner's true nature unleashed when a freak accident turns him into a man who looks like he's struggling to hold in a fart." It's harsh, but pretty true, and very, very funny. Watch the whole take-down below. The movie does have some defenders in the comments, so don't feel too bad for it. This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |
Posted: If you're like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don't worry; we've got you covered. Here's the best of what happened last night on late night. Jeremy Renner, aka Hawkeye, was the latest "Avengers" actor on "The Tonight Show," and on Tuesday night he discussed his haircut journey, and sang a hilarious, heartfelt, surprisingly perfect song in honor of his character's lesser-known powers. You have to see his cute little bowl haircut from the '70s. He has some issues with his mom for that look. He also talked about his band in high school, Hot Ice. Speaking of performances, watch Jeremy as Hawkeye, singing about his super powers to the tune of Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud." "But listen I've got powers too and they're pretty sweet/Promise I can do so much more than just archery." The whole thing is awesome. And he can really sing! The full lyrics are listed with the YouTube video. "When I go to Chipotle I get free guac" still has us laughing. Michael Keaton was on "Late Show with David Letterman" and shared his Oscar revelation (illness always wins!) and a great tribute to Letterman. The great John Cleese was on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" talking about Monty Python reuniting. He said all the Pythons were scared that people wouldn't laugh at their shows, but he said it was like all your best friends reuniting in heaven. John also talked about the "Dead Parrot" sketch. Linda Cardellini was on Seth's show and talked about the late great "Freaks and Geeks" show. The cast was part of the Thanksgiving Day parade and they got heckled, with people yelling "Who are you?" and flipping them off. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau was on "Conan" talking about "Game of Thrones" spoilers, saying it's sometimes fun to tease fans with fake spoilers. He did one with a duck for HBO Nordic and some people thought they knew exactly what he meant. He shared a new "spoiler" about the dragons (it's good) and talked about his bowel movements. (!) He shared a story from a college trip to Africa, where he went almost two weeks without pooping. When he came home to Denmark it was the most blissful pooping. Conan said there was something rotten in the state of Denmark. Haha. Tim McGraw and Patricia Heaton were both (separately) on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Tim performed "Overrated" and "Shotgun Rider." Patricia talked about an inappropriate text that her son sent her. Here's Tim talking about how he's played in some rough places, and then Tim discussing his role as a N.A.S.A. engineer in "Tomorrowland." The second movie includes a new clip of "Tomorrowland." Anna Faris, Tituss Burgess, and David George Gordon were on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" and for whatever reason they started eating bugs. Those tarantulas ... ugh.
