| Starz Renews Power for a Second Season Posted: 11 Jun 2014 01:14 PM PDT  Starz announced today a season two pick up of "Power," the New York-based drama starring Omari Hardwick. Creator, showrunner and executive producer Courtney Kemp Agboh and fellow executive producers Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Mark Canton, David Knoller and Randall Emmett will return for the sophomore season. Production is set to begin on the 10-episode second season in and around New York, as well as at its home base at Steiner Studios in Brooklyn this September. |

| Scholastic is Bringing The Magic School Bus 360 degrees to Netflix Posted: 11 Jun 2014 06:47 AM PDT Netflix and Scholastic Media announced today they will launch a new original TV series based on the groundbreaking and iconic TV show "The Magic School Bus." The all-new CG animated series from Scholastic Media – "The Magic School Bus 360 degrees" – will be a reimagining of the show that revolutionized kids' television starting in the 1990s. Scholastic Media's Emmy Award-winning creative team, led by Executive Producer Deborah Forte, will produce the new series written for school-aged children. The 26 episodes will launch on Netflix starting in 2016. |
| E3 2014: Pac-Man Joins the Cast of Super Smash Bros. Posted: 10 Jun 2014 10:55 PM PDT At the E3 video game trade show in Los Angeles, Nintendo revealed that Pac-Man will be joining the cast of the upcoming Super Smash Bros. games for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. The addition of the Namco Bandai icon brings together video game legends Mario, Mega Man, Sonic the Hedgehog and Pac-Man in one game for the first time. The foursome joins dozens of other characters in the game, which will launch for Nintendo 3DS on Oct. 3, and on Wii U during the 2014 holiday season. |
| Pretty Little Liars Renewed for a Sixth and Seventh Season Posted: 10 Jun 2014 10:40 PM PDT Tom Ascheim, president, ABC Family, and Kate Juergens, Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Development and Chief Creative Officer, ABC Family, have announced that the network has picked up two more seasons of its longest-running original hit series, "Pretty Little Liars," from Warner Horizon Television. Season six is set to air mid-2015, and season seven is set to air mid-2016. |
