Movie News: Ben Affleck Casts Doubt on 'The Batman'; Watch New 'Fifty Shades Darker' TV Spot Posted: 02 Jan 2017 12:00 PM PST The Batman: Once again, Ben Affleck has cast doubts on making a solo movie about Batman, provisionally titled The Batman. This time, Affleck says: "It’s not a set thing and there’s no script. If it doesn’t come together in a way I think is really great, I’m not going to do it.” It's understood that Affleck will also direct the movie, if it moves forward. Affleck is next confirmed to play the character in Zack Snyder's Justice League, scheduled for release on November 17.
