New teaser trailer for Jackie Chan’s ‘Railroad Tigers’ Posted: 07 Jun 2016 12:05 AM PDT "Railroad Tigers" Chinese Theatrical Poster If Jackie Chan’s upcoming Skiptrace isn’t your cup of tea, then maybe Railroad Tigers – his other forthcoming movie – is something you can look forward to. Railroad Tigers will be hitting theaters in December 2016. The period actioner reunites the legend with director Ding Sheng (Little Big Soldier, Police Story 2013) for a 3rd time. The film also stars Xu Fan (A World Without Thieves), Edison Huang (Gentle Bullet) and Koji (Color War). According to THR, Railroad Tigers is set in wartime China in 1941 and features Chan as a railroad worker who leads a team of freedom fighters who use their knowledge of the train network to disrupt Japan's wartime engine and steal food for the starving Chinese population. Stephen Fung to remake John Woo’s ‘Once a Thief’? Posted: 06 Jun 2016 12:00 AM PDT "Once a Thief" Chinese Theatrical Poster A remake of John Woo's Once a Thief – the 1991 classic about art thieves, played by Chow Yun Fat, Cherie Chung and Leslie Cheung – has been in development for two years. Originally, it was reported to begin production in 2015, with Huang Xiaoming, Kim Soo Hyun and Michelle Chen attached for starring roles. For whatever reason, the project was put on hold. But now, new details have emerged (via FCS) that the remake is moving forward with a new cast: Shu Qi (The Assassin), William Feng (Dragon Blade) and Stephen Fung (Gen-X Cops), who will not only star, but also direct the movie.
