That's no longer the case, however. It's 2015 and the future is now. Intergalactic smugglers may not be carrying them on their hips just yet, but laser weapons are a very real thing. There's one problem with them, though, and apparently the key to solving it lays in Star Wars. In movies, laser blasters almost always make a "pew-pew" sound as they fire. In the real world that doesn't happen. Light doesn't actually make a sound. And that's a problem for the military. He plays a contract killer for the CIA who enlists the help of an old-school friend (Kevin Hart) to "foil a plan to sell military secrets." Johnson describes his character as "a grown man who's extremely childlike," yet also has "an extremely high I.Q. and is one of the most lethal men on the planet." The movie is due out June 17, 2016.
