New on DVD/Blu-ray: Ryan Gosling's 'Young Hercules,' 'Dog Soldiers' Gets Upgraded, and More

Posted: 24 Jun 2015 08:00 PM PDT

That time Ryan Gosling played a young Kevin Sorbo Young Hercules: Here's a weird bit of trivia. The '90s TV adventure show Hercules: The Legendary Journeys ran for six seasons and had a total of 111 episodes. Its spin-off prequel show, Young Hercules starring a teenage Ryan Gosling, only ran for one season, but it had a whopping 50 episodes. And that's totally cool -- last thing we want to do is tarnish that experience in any way by showing you a video of what it'd look like if Magic Mike XXL was written by little kids instead of, ya know, deliciously brilliant adults. But we're gonna show you the video anyway -- not just because it's very funny, but also because all of it is performed by Magic Mike himself, Channing Tatum.   The bit was staged by Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show -- another edition of a segment that asks little kids to write scenes for...
