The Schmoes are a couple of regular guys, Kristian Harloff and Mark Ellis, who--like you--are the people for whom movies are made. A Guide to Liam Neeson's Particular Set of Skills in the 'Taken' Movies Posted: 09 Jan 2015 08:30 PM PST We all know Bryan Mills from the Taken series has a particular set of skills. But what are they really? Is he good at baking cakes? Can he play “Flight of the Bumblebee” on the harmonica? In an effort to figure out exactly what Bryan Mills is good at, we’ve poured through the Taken films and made some educated guesses. Tracking Bryan Mills never has to worry about losing an iPhone because he is extremely good at finding lost things. Even if it means flying to Russia and asking door-to-door until everyone in that country hates his guts, he will get that iPhone back. It has valuable pictures of his daughter on it, after all. Shooting Lots of action heroes are bad marksmen. Not Bryan Mills. He can shoot the wing off a wasp during a... Read More This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |

The Best Movie Trailers of the Week Posted: 09 Jan 2015 05:36 PM PST Welcome back to Best Movie Trailers of the Week, a column where we handpick the best new movie trailers that have arrived online over the past week. The Lazarus Effect The Lazarus Effect wasn’t even on my radar until that first image of Olivia Wilde dropped, but now between that and this trailer, it’s easily one of my most anticipated horror movies of the year. You think you’ve seen people come back from the dead on the big screen before? Not like this. Based on this trailer, The Lazarus Effect feels like it could be a strong, character-driven horror film that puts a fresh, thoughtful spin on a possession/reanimation nightmare. The Peanuts Movie About half of the latest trailer for The Peanuts Movie is... Read More This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |
See the Mickey Mouse Cameos in 'Frozen,' 'Guardians of the Galaxy' and Other Disney Movies Posted: 09 Jan 2015 04:00 PM PST Mickey Mouse is Disney's most iconic character, but it would seem to be a mistake to call him the studio's biggest movie star. Maybe back in the days of Walt Disney's shorts that was correct, but he's only had a significant role in one of the classic animated features, Fantasia. But in fact Mickey has made plenty of appearances in Disney's animated features, just in cameos and in the form of Easter eggs, many of which have only been spotted in the era of quality home video. For instance, animators paid homage to the famous anthropomorphic... Read More This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |

The series was created by Chris Ryall and Ashley Wood; the story revolves around the last human on Earth, a young girl who is protected by a group of robots against "a pack of intelligent zombies."
