The Legendary Debbie Reynolds Has Passed Away

Posted: 29 Dec 2016 01:46 AM PST

Legendary actress Debbie Reynolds has died, according to multiple media reports, one day after her daughter Carrie Fisher unexpectedly passed away. She was 84. Her son, Todd Fisher, told Variety: "She wanted to be with Carrie." Born in El Paso, Texas, Reynolds and her family moved to California when she was 8 years old. After she became an actress and landed a few supporting roles, her big break came in the immortal musical Singin' in the Rain. She displayed a bright comic touch and held her own as a singer and dancer against Gene Kelly and Donald O'Connor. Reynolds soon soared into movie stardom, proving especially popular in light comedies like Susan Slept Here and Tammy and the Bachelor. But she could also handle roles with greater depth, as in the...

Deadpool Rumored to Appear in Wolverine Movie, 'Logan' -- Ryan Reynolds Responds

Posted: 28 Dec 2016 06:00 PM PST

Looks like the fans may get their wish after all. The first time Deadpool appeared in a Wolverine movie, it didn't do either character justice. In X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds portrayed a version of Deadpool that was almost unrecognizable from the comics; one that looked wildly different and came without his trademark wit and charisma.  That all changed when Reynolds got the chance to do it all again, reprising the character -- this time as a version much closer to the one from the comics -- subsequently churning out one of 2016's biggest hits and successfully launching what will no doubt become a new era of R-rated superhero movies. And now, thanks to an incredible amount of fan demand, it looks as if Deadpool and Wolverine may reunite, if only...

First Footage From 'Beyond Skyline' Combines Aliens and 'The Raid' Star Iko Uwais

Posted: 28 Dec 2016 02:00 PM PST

2010's Skyline closed with a pretty bonkers ending that showed this low budget alien invasion movie could be much, much weirder than its big budget brethren. And while it's sequel, Beyond Skyline, is apparently not a direct continuation of that storyline, it looks like it could be as big, strange and ambitious as its predecessor.  We still don't have an official synopsis for the movie, but we do know a few things about it. We know Frank Grillo, who tore it up in The Purge: Anarchy, is playing a detective searching for his son that's been taken by the invading aliens. And we know Iko Uwais, who tore it up in The Raid, is his co-star. That's kind of the extent of it. But thanks to this first clip from the movie, we've finally got our eyes on things...
