Hey Comic Fans: Spend Your Holiday Reading These Great Batman Stories

Posted: 23 Dec 2016 09:00 PM PST

We've reached what many consider to be the most wonderful time of the year, and it seems like the holidays can, in many ways, go hand in hand with the ideals of the superhero. Granted, I typically go in having no idea why a particular wine pairs with, say, the roasted chicken breast I ordered, but once it's all put in front of me the entire thing just works. It's not that either can't be enjoyed without the other -- of course they can -- but it's that when paired together there's a certain symphony of tastiness that slowly and enjoyably begins to fuel your soul.  For my top ten list this year I decided to employ the concept of wine pairings with movie pairings (and I've also extended the list by two because it's my list and I can do whatever I want). These are the movies that meant the most to me this year -- the films that stuck; that demand you watch, think, appreciate...
