According to various sources, these are the four lucky ladies who will all be bustin' some ghosts: Kristen Wiig Melissa McCarthy Kate McKinnon Leslie Jones Those first two names were obvious considering director Paul Feig already worked with both on Bridesmaids, and their names have been swirling around ever since he landed the high-profile remake. And rightfully so, since the main reason Disney wanted the house George Lucas built was so that it could make a new trilogy (and then some). But that was far from the only lucrative property under Lucas' thumb. They also have one of the most beloved film characters of all time in the mix: Indiana Jones. Since that acquisition, there have been quite a few rumors about a new Indiana Jones movie, but nothing solid has risen to the surface. | A 'Rush Hour' TV Show Is Coming from the Creator of 'Scrubs' Posted: 27 Jan 2015 03:00 PM PST Buddy-cop comedies used to be all of the rage back in the day. Heck, in the 1980s, movie studios were legally required to make every other movie a cop comedy. (Note: May not be historically accurate.) They waned a bit in the '90s, but then Rush Hour came along and seemed to reinvigorate audience's appetites for mismatched cops coming together to take down a criminal boss. Since then, the cop comedy has once again gone into a bit of hibernation on the big screen, but it's alive and well on the small screen. Shows like Castle and Elementary are big hits, and they're basically just buddy-cop shows where one of the partners technically isn't a police officer. The superhero movie stars Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell as the titular quartet and is directed by Josh Trank (Chronicle). Yesterday Trank and screenwriter Simon Kinberg broke their long silence about the movie, revealing a few unexpected details to Collider. The most surprising of the bunch? | Movie News: First Official Look at 'The Fantastic Four'; 'Star Wars' Spin-off Finds a New Writer Posted: 27 Jan 2015 12:00 PM PST The Fantastic Four: Director Josh Trank has shared the first official behind-the-scenes photos from The Fantastic Four. Due in theaters on August 7, the movie teams Michael B. Jordan, Miles Teller, Kate Mara and Jamie Bell as the titular superheroes. Trank confirms that it's an origin story, and adds that David Cronenberg's Scanners and The Fly were "big influences on the look of the film." We'll have to wait a few more months to see what, exactly, all that means.
