Total Film line-up at Latitude 2014 announced

Total Film is partnering with Latitude 2014 for the second year this summer. With the festival getting underway on 17 July, we're happy to announce our full line-up of film exclusives.

First up, Nicolas Cage's fantastic drama Joe will screen on Friday 18 July. Cage plays an ex-con who becomes an unlikely role model for 15-year-old Gary (Tye Sheridan, Mud). Featuring one of Cage's best ever performances, Joe is totally unmissable.

The film exclusives continue on Saturday 19 July, with a day packed full of cinematic thrills and spills.

The day kicks off with a screening of indie coming-of-ager Palo Alto, the directorial debut of Gia Coppola (granddaughter to Francis Ford). Based on a series of short stories by James Franco, it stars Emma Roberts as a disenfranchised teen.

Then we're very excited to be hosting a Q&A with one of our favourite directors, Peter Strickland. The Brit filmmaker, whose Berberian Sound Studio is a brilliant ode to European horror, will be there to answer all your questions and talk about his latest film, Duke Of Burgundy.
