Marvel Studios can use Spider-Man in an upcoming movie, and Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige and former Sony chairman Amy Pascal will work together as producers to bring the next Spider-Man solo film to the big screen. Though the Marc Webb films have their moments, there was a lot of ill-informed franchise building, where random pieces were being set up for possible use in the future to the detriment of the immediate stories they were trying to tell. Those are just a few of the incredible honors bestowed upon the talented actor who grew up the impoverished son of a dirt farmer in the Bahamas. After coming to New York in search of a better life, he worked menial jobs as a dishwasher and slept in a bus-terminal bathroom. It was a difficult beginning, and he joined the Army hoping for more. The two previously teamed in a new version of Macbeth, which is due in theaters later this year. It's not clear which role Cotillard will play in the big-budget action picture, which is envisioned as a franchise tentpole. Look for it in theaters on December 21, 2016.
