'The Normal Heart' Trailer: Mark Ruffalo Speaks Out (VIDEO) Posted: A big mouth isn't always a problem; sometimes, it can be the solution. That's the theme running through the trailer for the upcoming HBO film, "The Normal Heart." Directed by "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy from a play by Larry Kramer, the movie chronicles the beginning of the AIDS epidemic in the '80s. "The Normal Heart" covers a similar timeframe as the Oscar-nominated "Dallas Buyers Club," but focuses on a gay man (Mark Ruffalo) who becomes an activist. He teams up with a doctor (Julia Roberts) to raise awareness and lobby politicians to care about. Ruffalo is all fire and passion, while Roberts is the cool, no-nonsense physician. And they're just two members of a sterling cast, which also includes Matt Bomer, Taylor Kitsch, and Jim Parsons. We have a feeling this will rake in the awards come Emmy time. Watch the Chilling Opening Scene to Joss Whedon's 'In Your Eyes' (VIDEO) Posted: Strange occurrences are a matter of course in Joss Whedon's universe. In Whedon's latest movie, "In Your Eyes," which he wrote and executive produced, two strangers on opposite coasts share a metaphysical, inexplicable connection. The first three minutes of the movie, directed by Brin Hill, has been released ahead of its premiere this weekend at the Tribeca Film Festival. In the opening scene, a girl named Rebecca is sledding, while a boy named Dylan is attending school. As Rebecca races down the hill, suddenly Dylan can see through her eyes. And when Rebecca crashes into a tree, Dylan experiences it, too. Most of the movie follows Rebecca (Zoe Kazan) and Dylan (Michael Stahl-David) as adults, when they become aware of their unique, supernatural link.
