Who Will Win 'Project Runway' Season 14? See 2015 Finale Collections

Posted:

There are currently six designers left on "Project Runway" Season 14, and -- as it happens -- six PR designers showed at New York Fashion Week in September. This is how they do it every year, although they usually have a few more "decoy" collections, and usually the designers of each collection are known. This time, they showed anonymously. But by now we know the designers of the 2015 season, and it's pretty clear who did what. And those collections can give us an idea of who might be winning this season.

We won't see all of these designs on TV, we'll just see the finalists. But Blogging Project Runway has all the collections here:

Collection 1

Collection 2

Collection 3

Collection 4

Collection 5

Collection 6

We agree with the fans who believe 1 is Swapnil Shinde, 2 is Merline Labissiere (the hats!), 3 is Edmond Newton, 4 is Ashley Nell Tipton, 5 is Kelly Dempsey from the deli with her fanny packs, and 6 is Candice Cuoco.

Overall, the finale collections are pretty good -- especially for the super-rushed time frame of the modern seasons. Based on the collections, and what we've seen of these designers so far this season, guessing the win will come down to Edmond or Swapnil, with Kelly and Ashley as serious contenders. (Anyone else a bit disappointed by Candice, if 6 was indeed hers?) Our official guess is ... Edmond will win PR 14.

Who do you see as the winner of the 2015 season?

Shannen Doherty Goes Full Diva in 'Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210' Clip

Posted:

Never mind Hurricane Joaquin. The real hot mess headed our way this weekend is Lifetime' s "Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210 Story," which premieres Saturday night. Expect Twitter to be brutal. But we already love it, especially after watching the exclusive clip TVLine shared.

Watch it here.

We see "Shannen Doherty" (Samantha Munro) living up to her diva reputation, demanding that she wear a certain red dress for a photo shoot. (How "Heathers" of her.) Meanwhile, Jennie Garth (Abbie Cobb) argues that it's her turn to wear red.

The clip starts with Shannen saying it's not up for debate. She's wearing the dress. Tori Spelling (Abby Ross) asks why Shannen gets to be the one to wear it. "Because I'm No. 1 on the call sheet," Shannen replies. "What's so hard to understand here? If either one of you is No. 1 on the call sheet, you get to wear the red dress." Jennie keeps pushing for it, saying she doesn't want to wear black again. "You wore red last year, Shannen." Shannen shoots back, "Exactly. And we were a hit!" Tori tries to drop the mic by saying she's showing up to the shoot in a red dress anyway. Shannen vows that NO ONE is showing up in the same color as her.

No idea how much of this is really true to life and how much is pure fiction. Either way, it's gold. And now we want to find a red dress to wear as we watch the drama play out.

Jon Snow Is Dead, You'll Be 'Disappointed' If You Think He's Alive (Says Maisie)

Posted:

Nothing ever stays dead on "Game of Thrones," and that includes the debate about Jon Snow's status. Did he die at the end of Season 5? Will be be alive in Season 6, which premieres next spring? The Powers That Be have insisted Jon did die and is dead, but then interviews and set sightings and stuff come up that makes it seem like Kit Harington will live to fight another day.

Now one of his co-stars is weighing in -- and she didn't just give a casual comment, she was definitive about the fate of Jon Snow. He's dead.

Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) called into "The Christian O'Connell Breakfast Show" in the U.K., and mentioned that she's in the middle of shooting at the moment. Season 6 actually started filming in July, and Maisie said she's "aware of the other storylines" happening around her as "We're given the full script at the beginning of the season." So she knows what happens not only to Arya -- who is now blind, leaving Maisie's own eyes in pain from contact lenses -- but to everyone else.

The radio host asked if she finds that, everywhere she goes, people ask if Jon Snow is alive? She answered, "All the time. People are constantly asking me, and the answer is no. I'm very sorry." But she laughed, so... The host returned to the Jon Snow question several times, at one point saying that Maisie knew the fate of Jon Snow. She said, "Yeah, he's dead." He immediately said, "[Jon] is not dead!" and called her a liar. Maisie responded, "I'm not a liar! I'm very sorry. I would know, of all people, after all. I'm the one that has the script." Later, the host asked her to tap the phone twice if Jon Snow is alive. "I ain't doing nothing," she said.

At the end of the talk, the host said he was looking forward to seeing her and Jon Snow back in action in the new season. Maisie laughed and said, "I think you're going to be a little bit disappointed."

Hmm. A little bit disappointed? Our theory is that Jon Snow did die, but he won't stay dead for long. Will we be disappointed or is she just trying to troll us off the scent?

'Beverly Hills, 90210' Cast: Where Are They Now?

Posted:

Want to make a Gen Xer feel old? Tell 'em that this weekend's Lifetime movie "The Unauthorized Beverly Hills 90210 Story," premiering October 3, is airing one day shy of the 25th anniversary of the debut of "Beverly Hills, 90210." Yep, all those fun-loving, well-to-do, oh-so-earnest sophomores from West Beverly High would be 41 now, which means the actors who played them are all around 50 and are now or soon will be eligible for AARP membership.

"90210" was a groundbreaking teen primetime soap that ran for 10 seasons on Fox, spawned numerous spinoffs (including "Melrose Place" and the 2008-13 "90210" reboot on The CW), opened up the summertime as a season for new episodic TV, sparked a mini-vogue in sideburns. and launched the careers of several teen idols. Now that their youth-icon years are far behind, however, how have the West Beverly alumni fared? Take a look.

Joaquin Phoenix Jokes Flood the Internet as East Coast Preps for Hurricane

Posted:

The second "Joaquin" was revealed as the name of the hurricane that may or may not hit the East Coast this weekend, you knew what the Internet had to do: It had to blame actor Joaquin Phoenix and make memes about his destructive path. There was no other choice.

Perhaps the best reaction is this map using various Joaquin roles to demonstrate the potential growth of the storm from normal and tame in the south to wild and out of control further up the coast:

View post on imgur.com

Here's another good one, referencing Joaquin's brief, and odd, exit from acting:

Others stuck to just tweeting clever things like this:
Isn't it nice that we can all come together in moments like this? And isn't it fitting that no one can really predict what either Joaquin will do next? Here's hoping the Internet can bond over the next natural disaster as well.

J.K. Rowling Mourns Brazil's Voice of Harry Potter, Reportedly Shot at Age 27

Posted:

It may not be something you give much thought to, but the "Harry Potter" movies are dubbed in different languages around the world. In Brazil, a military police officer named Caio César Ignácio Cardoso de Melo was the Portuguese voice actor for Harry Potter, dubbing over Daniel Radcliffe's lines.

According to local Brazilian site Folha de S. Paulo, Caio César was killed on September 30 during a police operation in the Complexo do Alemão, in Rio de Janeiro. He was 27 and had reportedly been an officer for four years. Police said, via the site, that teams were patrolling the region when they came under fire, and Caio César was shot in the neck. They said he was taken to the hospital but died from the wounds.

"Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling reacted to the tragedy:

Charles Emmanuel, Brazilian voice of Ron Weasley, tweeted (in Portuguese) tributes to his former colleague. According to The Guardian, he wrote, "Everyone has heard the voice of Caio César at some point. ... I've had the opportunity to work with him several times, because we are the same generation of voice actors. ... He was a runt, skinny, but he grew up and went on to become a policeman and turned into a father. He became a man."

It definitely sounds like he was a worthy representative of Gryffindor's bravery. According to Folha, he is survived by a daughter.

Katniss Is Benched From Combat in First Clip From Final 'Hunger Games' Movie

Posted:

"The Hunger Games" champ Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) may be the best warrior in Panem, but she's too important to the cause to be put on the front line. That's what she -- and Finnick (Sam Claflin) and Gale (Liam Hemsworth) -- are told in this first clip from "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2."

In the nearly 2-minute scene, we see Finnick cut his honeymoon short to enter a tent where the rebels share the plans for their attack. Boggs (Mahershala Ali) and Cressida (Natalie Dormer) are in charge, and tell our heroes they're the faces of the revolution and cannot be risked in combat. They'll be following days behind the real fighters. "You're to be the on-screen faces of the invasion," Cressida explains. "The star squad. It's been decided that you're most effective when you're seen by the masses." That's not to say they won't face danger. They're in a war zone. "You're considered high value targets to the Capitol," Boggs adds.

Finnick puts his own spin on it, whispering to the stoic Katniss, "Ladies and gentleman, welcome to the 76th Hunger Games."

Here's the full scene:

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" will be released November 20.

Emily Blunt's Boobs Vetoed the Nude Scene Planned for 'Sicario'

Posted:

Emily Blunt is such an independent minded actress that even her breasts think and speak for themselves. Emily was on Howard Stern's Sirius XM radio show, and it's pretty much the law that if you go on Howard Stern you have to talk about nudity, sex, boobs, etc. Emily covered her bases when discussing a nude scene that did not make the cut of her badass new war-on-drugs movie "Sicario." It was a scene between Benicio Del Toro and herself, and she apparently rejected it. Or "they" rejected it.

As Emily put it (via People), "[A nude scene] was in there originally but it came out because we didn't agree with it." Who is this "we"? Emily replied, "My tits. [They said] 'we're not doing it.' "

Well, the tits have spoken -- and who's going to dare argue with them? Emily added that "Benicio backed me up," so he was Team Tits, or Team No Tits, as it turned out. No one should have to give a reason for shutting down a nude scene -- especially for a movie that is not exactly dependent on nude scenes -- but this at least was a funny and unique way of explaining what didn't happen.

Watch James Bond Gun for Christoph Waltz in Final 'Spectre' Trailer

Posted:

"Spectre" doesn't come out until November, and the new trailer for the film isn't making the wait any easier.

Sony released the final trailer for Daniel Craig's latest Bond adventure Friday, which focuses less on story, more on all the "holy sh**" action scenes. Our favorite? 007 takes on a falling building.

There's also a great tease to the sparkage in store when Bond finally confronts villain Christoph Waltz, who is all but confirmed to be playing the super spy's arch-nemesis, Blofeld. (That shot of what looks to be a top-secret evil lair is a dead giveaway.)

"Spectre" centers on Bond's efforts to uncover -- and then stop -- the titular evil agency from doing the world domination thing. Along the way, 007 shoots, punches and car chases his way through various places around the globe.

The movie looks like a worthy successor to "Skyfall," and we'll see for ourselves when it hits theaters November 6.

Here's the First Look at Renee Zellweger in 'Bridget Jones's Baby'

Posted:

bridget jones, bridget jones's baby, renee zellwegerAt long last, production has started on the oft-delayed threequel to "Bridget Jones's Diary," "Bridget Jones's Baby." Now, fans have their first image from the flick to decipher.

Of course, there really isn't too much to gather from the shot, which features titular star Renee Zellweger smiling and clutching an iPad. Might Bridge be eschewing her paper diary for an electronic format in the new film?

Plot details are being kept tightly under wraps for now, though Empire reports that this film won't follow the storyline of author Helen Fielding's third "Jones" book, "Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy." Fans may remember that that 2013 tome famously and cruelly killed off the beloved Mark Darcy (played to perfection by Colin Firth in the flicks), leaving Bridget to raise their two children alone.

Instead, Empire says, "Bridget Jones's Baby" (the current working title, though that may change) will take inspiration from some of Fielding's columns, and is rumored to take place soon after the events of "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason," when Darcy proposes to Bridget. The script was written in part by Fielding and David Nicholls ("Far From The Madding Crowd").

Patrick Dempsey is also set to star in the film, which will sadly be without rakish rogue Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant) this time around. There's no word yet on just who Dempsey will play, though we expect he and Firth will butt heads at some point during the proceedings.

"Bridget Jones's Baby" is due sometime next fall. Check out the full photo below.

If Not for DWTS, Alek Skarlatos Would've Been at Oregon Shooting

Posted:

It's too melodramatic to say "Dancing With the Stars" saved Alek Skarlatos life, or to say that, if not for DWTS, the Paris train hero would've saved lives yesterday at Umpqua Community College in Oregon. But in another one of life's odd twists of fate, the 22-year-old Army National Guard Specialist who made headlines when he and friends thwarted a possible terrorist attack in Paris was formerly a student at UCC and planned to return. In fact, he told "Good Morning America" he would've been at the school the day of the shooting if ABC hadn't called to ask him to join the current season of "Dancing With the Stars."

Alek was with GMA in Roseburg, which he has called "home" for the past six years, to discuss the October 1 tragedy. "It's just absolutely insane, to be in a situation like this, especially in my town Roseburg," Alek said. Six weeks ago, he helped to thwart a potential attack, and that led to DWTS. But by that point he had already enrolled for Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday classes at UCC. "If I didn't get called for the dancing show I would've been on campus," Alek said. GMA said they know what he would've done, if he was there. Alek replied, "Well, I would've tried anyway."

Here's his GMA interview:

Alek was in the DWTS studio with pro partner Lindsay Arnold when he got the news about the UCC shooting. He was on a flight to Roseburg about an hour after the news, and also gave a reaction statement to People:

I was enrolled as a student at Umpqua Community College prior to my 2014 deployment to Afghanistan. While I was fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time in August aboard a train bound for Paris, I only wish that the same could be said for today. I wish that I could have been there today to assist. I praise the first responders who were on the ground today in Roseburg as they undoubtedly were integral in saving numerous lives and putting a stop to what could have been more than tragic than it is. My heart and prayers go out to this community, my community, right now."

Alek told GMA everyone he contacted was safe, which is good to hear, but 10 people did die (including the shooter) with at least 10 others injured.

Sandra Bullock Has Adopted a Baby Girl: Report

Posted:

2015 Toronto International Film Festival - Sandra Bullock's family seems to be growing: The actress has reportedly adopted a baby girl.

According to Radar Online, Bullock just finalized the adoption, and recently welcomed the infant into her home in Los Angeles. The Oscar-winning actress has also been slowly bringing her daughter out in public, the site reports.

If true, this is the second child for Bullock, who adopted son Louis five years ago in a similar hush-hush manner; she later revealed her new son to the public in a People cover story in 2010. Bullock has made no public comment on this reported second adoption since Radar first reported the story on Thursday.

Fellow gossip site Lainey suggests that that's because Bullock wants to keep the adoption as private as possible for now. According to the site, Bullock was photographed out in L.A. cradling a baby last Sunday, but those images have not been published, reportedly at the actress's request.

Radar reports that Bullock intends to raise this new child alongside her boyfriend, photographer Bryan Randall, with whom she recently moved in. Bullock's reps did not return a request for comment on the report.

Zack Snyder May Make a 'Watchmen' TV Series for HBO

Posted:

'Watchmen' Photo CallAfter his big screen take on the graphic novels failed to become a franchise, director Zack Snyder may be bringing "Watchmen" to TV instead.

According to Collider, Snyder has been meeting with HBO to discuss potential for a "Watchmen" series. The site says it's unclear whether or not this new series would be a reboot of the film, a prequel, or a sequel, though the DC Comics property is certainly intricate enough to warrant multiple angles of exploration.

HBO later confirmed these talks with Snyder, providing the following statement to Collider:

Preliminary discussions regarding Watchmen have occurred but we have no additional information and no deals are in place.

So obviously, it's not a done deal yet, though that still doesn't stop the possibility from being an intriguing one. As Collider points out, the 2009 feature film wasn't a huge hit with critics or moviegoers, but that's mainly been blamed on the massive story's inability to fit in a confined movie format; the site thinks the hefty source material would be better suited as a serialized TV show, and we agree.

But as Collider also notes, HBO has a tricky history with big-name talent developing series, as failed shows from the likes of David Fincher can attest. (It's also unclear at this point if Snyder would be involved in a writing or directing capacity, or if he would merely be credited as a creator or producer.) So we'll have to wait and see if/when HBO announces a cast and premiere date before we're definitively celebrating this deal.

Stay tuned.

Helen Mirren Is Officially Retiring from Onscreen Nudity

Posted:

2015 Tony Awards - Press RoomSexy septuagenarian Helen Mirren is still as gorgeous as ever, and as a hilarious 2011 "Saturday Night Live" sketch proves, her breasts are truly wonderful. But, sadly, audiences won't be able to see them on the big screen again.

In a recent CBS interview with Alan Cumming, Mirren revealed that she's officially covering up for good, and won't do any more onscreen nudity in the future. Cumming, who called Mirren's breasts "legendary," discussed the actress's previous nude roles, and the Oscar winner admitted that though she initially "never wanted" to get naked on camera, she also didn't think it was a very big deal.

"I was doing nude scenes [from] the first moment I started doing movies. ... It was the era," Mirren, who's been seen in the buff in flicks from 1979's "Caligula" to 2003's "Calendar Girls," told Cumming. " ... It seemed to be nothing to get your knickers in a twist over."

But at age 70, Mirren has decided that her disrobing days are over -- except for one special person.

"That's the good thing about getting older. You don't have to do that sort of thing any more," Mirren said. " ... [Now] my pleasure pillows are purely for my husband [Taylor Hackford]."

We'll miss those pleasure pillows indeed, but what a career they -- and Mirren -- have had. We say both she and they have earned a well-deserved break.

'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' Star Nicholas Brendon Arrested for Allegedly Choking His Girlfriend

Posted:

nicholas brendon, nicholas brendon mugshot"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star Nicholas Brendon is in trouble with the law yet again: The actor has been arrested and charged with allegedly choking his girlfriend on Wednesday night.

The alleged incident occurred in Saratoga Springs, New York where police Lt. Bob Jillson said that authorities were called to a downtown hotel, where Brendon's girlfriend said she went to return some property to the actor. Instead, authorities said, Brendon allegedly grabbed her keys and tossed her cellphone out the window when she tried to call for help.

"It sounds like it went downhill from there," Jillson said. "He allegedly grabbed her by the throat and started choking her."

Brendon, who authorities say may or may not have been intoxicated, fled the scene, but police caught up with him a few blocks away. He was arrested and charged with robbery, obstruction of breathing, and criminal mischief; he was booked and released from jail on Thursday on $20,000 bond.

Wednesday's incident marks the fourth time Brendon has been arrested this year, and the fifth time in the past 12 months. The Associated Press reports:

In May, Brendon was charged with public intoxication while in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, for the XCon World Comic Convention. In March, he was charged with criminal mischief and property damage at a Florida hotel. In February, he was arrested on charges he refused to pay a bill at another Florida hotel.

Last October, he apologized after being arrested on charges of resisting officers and malicious injury to property after a confrontation at the Tree City Comic Con in Boise, Idaho.

According to the Albany Times Union, Brendon also had several previous scrapes with Saratoga law enforcement throughout the week before Wednesday's arrest, including two calls to check on the actor's health. No word yet on when Brendon is expected back in local court.

The 'Hunger Games' Will End in the Final 'Mockingjay' Poster

Posted:

the hunger games, mockingjay, mockingjay part 2, katnissThe new tagline on the final poster for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -- Part 2" sums up our feelings about the last installment of the series hitting theaters next month: "Nothing can prepare you for the end." And we're so not ready to say goodbye.

But while moviegoers mourn the franchise's impending conclusion, Katniss and co. have a very real threat to deal with on the big screen, as the battle with and for the Capitol comes to a head. This new poster reflects the heady rush of simultaneous excitement and dread in store for both the characters in the film and the fans watching them, as readers of the "Hunger Games" books already know that things don't exactly end as happily as they should.

The image features Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) herself almost aflame as she leaps across a burning background, which includes her signature Mockingjay symbol. It's a clever progression of the imagery we saw on posters for "Mockingjay -- Part 1," in which she appeared all in black and somewhat withdrawn; here, there's no mistaking that the Mockingjay herself has officially taken flight, and she's not going down without a fight.

Check out the full image below. "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -- Part 2" hits theaters on November 20.

Best of Late Night TV: Miley Cyrus' Emotional Interview and Jessica Alba's 'Tramp Stamp'

Posted:

If you're like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don't worry; we've got you covered. Here's the best of what happened last night on late night.

Time for another "Emotional Interview" with...Miley Cyrus! The best emotions she acted out had to be "super-offensive" and "super-polite," but the most hilarious thing she said? "I"m an international phenomenon and my name is Miley and everyone knows that."

Miley was also asked if she'd rather give up pot or glitter. The answer may surprise you. (Haha, not it won't, she obviously chose glitter.)
Speaking of Miley (sorry, there was a lot happening with her), she's really mad at Leonardo DiCaprio because he didn't "pass the vape" at an SNL after party. It's like, get your priorities straight, Leo. First the man-bun, now this?

On a more serious note, Ellen Page visited "The Late Show" and said her new movie helped inspire her to come out. Her thoughts are not to be missed.
Critical, life-changing news: LL Cool J claims he coined the expression "I'm Audi 5000," which is the most important saying to come out of the '90s, nay every decade ever. Listen to his story below and prepare to be mind-blown.

In non-celeb news, Jimmy Kimmel sat down with a bunch of hilariously cute children and questioned them about the election. One little girl thought Hilary Clinton was some chick named "Rose" and that Donald Trump was George Clooney. Let the amazingness abound.
Over on "The Late Late Show," Jessica Alba opened up about her "tramp stamp," and was mocked mercilessly as a result. She was going through a breakup, guys, sob!

Recap of 'The Blacklist' Season 3 Premiere: Liz and Red On the Run!

Posted:

The time has come to boldly go to our nation's capital, a terrifying place full of fedora-clad randoms on the FBI's most wanted list -- by which we mean Raymond Reddington. Last season on "The Blacklist," Raymond was joined on the FBI's most wanted list by his BFF Elizabeth "Liz" Keen, who's the prime suspect in the murder of a U.S. senator -- not to mention a bunch of other creeps. This means that Red and Elizabeth are on the "lam" together, so let the hijinx begin.

Oh, and if you're wondering where Elizabeth's estranged husband Tom is, he's presumably wandering the world to find someone to remove his S.S. tattoo. At least we assume as much.

Red Gets a Promotion, Needs a Therapist

So, Ressler is the new Task Force director, which is really awkward considering that he's supposed to track down Liz using "Reddit threads" (uhm, look at your life, look at your choices, FBI). Also awkward because he's most definitely in love with Liz and clearly can't handle the complexity of having more than one emotion at once. Poor Ressler spends most of this episode running around Washington DC and completely failing at his job -- but on the plus side he lets Harold Cooper go home, so at least he has some moral compass.

Liz Goes Blonde, Looks Amazing, Remains Wanted Criminal

Over in Fugitive Central, everyone's favorite dynamic duo are on the run and getting thwarted by Ressler at every turn. Finally -- after one exceptionally quick and insanely professional-seeming dye job -- Liz and Red team up with The Troll Farmer, an internet expert who has the power to create viral stories. This nerd creates a false trail to fool the FBI, but whoops, Ressler is secretly a genius and totally knows what they're up to. In fact, he shuts down the entire city so Liz and Red can't leave, which only gives Liz one option: to assume her identity as a Russian Spy.

Liz Gives Hits Up the Russian Embassy, Ressler Remains Terrible at Job

Despite being within Liz's reach as she runs to the Russian Embassy for protection, Ressler completely fails to capture his target (read: his girl crush) and she makes it over the fence, promptly declaring herself a Russian spy in need of protection. Looks like there's nothing the U.S. government can do! You know, until next week's episode....

Oh, and before we wrap things up it should be noted that Dembe experienced major drama this week. He gets a visit from a nefarious gentleman who uses his baby granddaughter as bait to catch him, and while said gentleman's motives are unclear, we smell trouble. Especially since this guy seems to be working for the organization that controls The Director. No good can come of this, people.

And now, some unanswered questions.....
1. Is Liz's mother dead or alive? It doesn't seem like Red knows what happened to her, and we're dying to know.
2. What will Dembe's fate be? He was last seen inhaling what appeared to be chloroform, which can't be good for his lungs.
3. Will Liz be able to convince the Russians that she's actually one of their spies?
